Anatomy of an egg.

The egg contains the biggest cell that can be found in nature, the cell is called ooplasm. It is formed by the yolk and the germinal disk which contains the nucleus. All is surrounded by the Viteline Membrane.

The ostrich, which is the biggest bird, produces the greatest egg. It lives in Africa.

An ostrich egg weights nearly 1.5 kilograms, that is equivalent to 25 hen eggs.
