What Holidays Does Egypt Have?

Muslims celebrate three major festivals: Moulid el-Nabi, Eid el-Ahda, and Eid el Fitr

At Moulid el-Nabi, they mark the birth of the Prophet Muhammad and have a big meal. They sell candy dolls.

Eid el-Ahda takes place after their annual pilgrimage to Mecca, which their holy place

Eid el Fitr is celebrated at the end of Ramadan. During Ramadan they fast during the day and only eat after sunset
