AGM & Annual Dinner 2015

A glittering and delightful Annual Dinner

held on 24 Nov 2015 at the Assembly Hall in

YMCA of Hong Kong. Over 200 guests had

attended the annual event, including officials

from Government Department and Liaison Office

of the Central People’ Government in HKSAR,

prominent figures from professional bodies as

well as leading celebrities from IT/healthcare

sectors in HK and China. We thanked much for

the generous support from Huawei as our

Platinum Sponsor, which made our dinner a

great success!

Seminar with Ricoh was successfully held on 21st July 2015. The seminar topics are “Ricoh

Surveillance Solutions for Hospitals and Clinics”, presented by Mr Wong Hin Fu - Senior Manager

of Ricoh Hong Kong Limited”; “The Use of Video Technologies in Medical Education”, presented by

Mr Albert Au - Senior IT Manager from the Faculty of Medicine, The University of Hong Kong. The

vivid and marvelous presentations won the applause from the participants.

3. Mr Wong shared some successful cases in the presentation, so the participants can have a comprehensive understanding to the Surveillance System.

The last seminar of eHealth Consortium in 2015

was the Seminar with Cisco in October 2015. It has

two different topics, namely “Cisco Leads the Next-

Generation Security Trend” & “How Security Solutions

can Mitigate Risk in Healthcare”.

The former one was presented by Mr Joseph Lee,

Technical Manager of Ingram Micro (China) Limited.

He showed us the Cyber-risk management was an

important challenge for every organization. The latter

one was presented by Mr Leslie Sin, System Engineer

of Cisco Systems (HK) Ltd. He stated that there are

different security requirements in healthcare

environment, how exiting security solutions can be

applied to meet those requirements can be a

challenge nowadays. Therefore, he showed us how

security solutions like access control; location

tracking etc can be applied to secure information

flow in healthcare environment.

HKPC - Tour for 3D Printing (Nov 2015)

The HKPC Tour for 3D Printing has been

successfully held on 13th November 2015. With

the warm tour guide of HKPC, our members had

a very pleasant experience in the HKPC Gallery

and 3D Printing One. Mr Henry Fong, Consultant

(Biomedical, Optical and Precision Engineering

Unit) of Automation Service Division from HKPC

shared the knowledge and development of 3D

printing with our members in the discussion

session.

It was a rare and precious opportunity for

our members to learn the most updated

technology of 3D printing used in eHealth Sector

in Hong Kong.

2015 Greater China eHealth Forum - Suzhou (Aug 2015)

2015 Greater China eHealth Forum in

Suzhou was successfully held on 6-7 August

2015 in Suzhou International Expo Center.

Hong Kong Delegation of 18 members

attended the great event in Suzhou.

Moreover, a Study tour to Suzhou

Smart City was arranged during the eHealth

Forum. This is a great opportunity for our

members to learn more about the eHealth

technology development in China.

Established since 2005, eHealth Consortium is one of the major non-profit making

organizations in Hong Kong leading eHealth advocacy in the region and we are the prime

agency bridging healthcare and IT industries to advance the development of eHealth in Hong

Kong and Mainland China.

Over the years, our efforts are focused on three key areas, namely data standardization,

education and capacity building, and facilitating pilot projects for the advancement of eHealth
