Only Supervisor and Machine operators are authorized to use this machine.

SAFETY BEFORE USING THE MACHINE:Ensure that you have all personal protective equipment (PPEs). For example safety shoes, safety gloves.Faulty equipment must not be used. Immediately report suspect equipment. Ensure there is suitable lighting and the work area is safe.

SAFETY DURING AND AFTER USING THE MACHINE:Use a safe working posture (beware of hair catching). When not in use, CAVANA should be stored in dry, and high or locked-up place. Dont overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times.

Maintain machine with care. Keep machine sharp and clean for better and safer performance. Follow instructions for lubricating and changing accessories. Keep handles dry, clean, and free from oil grease.

Avoid unintentional starting.

Stay alert. Watch what you are doing, use common sense. Don't operate machine when you are tired.Switch off the machine and the power when not in use e.g. on holiday and on maintenance day. Leave the machine in a safe, clean and tidy state when not in use. Always ensure fingers/hands and body are away from the motion of rotor/cutter of machine when in use.
