Rejoice! Rejoice! Rejoice! At last and with full and grateful hearts, we feel blessed to welcome St. Bartholomew’s newest members of the Church! In the Seventeenth Week of Ordinary Time, we celebrated the Sacraments of Initiation for the unbaptized the Rite of Reception for the baptized on July 20 and 21. Our Elect received the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist. The next evening, our Candidates for Full Reception completed their Initiation with a Profession of Faith and reception of the Sacraments of Confirmation and Eucharist. Please join us in congratulating our Neophytes and continue to pray for them as they begin their journey as new Catholics!
