Whale Water Heater

Power Settings available are:

Water Heater will be off

Water Heater will operate at 750W

Water Heater will operate at 1500W

Water Heater will operate on Gas

Water Heater will operate on Gas & 750W

Water Heater will operate on Gas & 1500W

Water Heater Frost Protection will be activated

Frost Protection

The Water Heater is fitted with Frost Protection to prevent freezing in cold weather and to protect the water heater (only) from damage in cold temperatures.

Note: Frost protection setting requires a power source to be connected. It will run on electric if mains power is connected, or on gas if mains power is not connected.

To activate Frost Protection, press until is illuminated.

HEATINGYour Whale Heating System is fitted with an electronic diagnostic system which will

detect fault conditions ranging from poor gas or d.c. supply to internal heater malfunctions. In the unlikely event of a failure, the diagnostic LED ‘!’ will light red.

To identify the fault - Press and hold for Space Heater, - Press and hold for Water Heater. The number of bars that light on the temperature gauge indicates

the fault code. (For more information please see your Vehicle Handbook). To clear the fault code turn the d.c. power ‘Off’ and then ‘On’ again at the Master Switch in the vehicle. If this is unsuccessful you must press the red reset button

located on the Space or Water Heater, as shown in your Vehicle Handbook.Wait for the fan to stop before cycling the power to prevent an overheat lockout.

Note: The temperature gauge must be set to a temperature higher than the actual air temperature for the Space Heater to turn on.

To Select Power Settings

Press to select your desired power setting.

Power Settings available are:

Space Heater will operate at 1000W

Space Heater will operate at 2000W

Space Heater will operate on gas

Space Heater will operate on gas and 1000W

Frost Protection The Space Heater is fitted with Frost Protection to warm the vehicle and prevent damage to the heating and water systems

that may be caused by cold temperatures.

To activate Frost Protection, press until the yellow indicator on the temperature gauge is above the frost protection icon.

Note: Frost protection setting requires a power source to be connected. It will run on electric if mains power is connected, or on gas if mains power is not connected.
