LAST WEEK - September 15, 2017 – Golf Outing
It was a perfect day for playing Golf…..much unlike the past two years. Seventy five members and guests gathered at the shelter area near Glynns Creek Golf Course at Scott County Park, for lunch catered by Smokin’ Butt Barbeque from Davenport. Many thanks to Tyler Bindrum for arranging lunch.
Forty four members and guests played Golf, organized by Tom Messer and Jeff Helms. The format was a little different this year, since we were playing at a different course. Many thanks to the 13 Hole spon-sors: First Central State Bank, Burt Chiropractic Clinic, Mid State Transmission, Northwest Bank Investment Department, Carpet Land USA, Strieters Body Shop, Powell Financial, Fahrenkrog Accounting, Brand T Screen Printing, Runge Mortuary, Wells Fargo Advisors, White Roofing and Central Scott Telephone.
Rick Willows, the caterer, donated 2 bottles of BBQ sauce. Leroy Paustian won one, as he was the oldest person attending and Brad Scott, guest of Steve Fahrenkrog, won the other one for coming the farthest distance. Thanks to all who helped make this a successful event!
The 4 Way Test Of the things we THINK SAY or DO
1. Is it the TRUTH?
2. Is it FAIR to all concerned?
3. Will it build GOOD WILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS? 4. Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
