General ElectionNovember 2, 2010

Issues & Platform

A Open Letter from EdTo the people of Texas State Senate District 8:I believe that the foundational principles of our country of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness have been abandoned by both major political parties. What remains are collectivists on two sides of the aisle – the Republicans who collude with big business and fund expansionist government through unsustainable deficit spending and the Democrats who believe that bigger government is the answer to every problem and fund expansionist government through confiscatory tax policies.I have finally said it is time to wake up!In Liberty,Ed Kless

Q. Why vote for me? A. Aren’t you tired of this?

If elected I will be a voice for the parents of

My Resignation LetterTo the voters of Texas State Senate District 8:

I am making this public. If I ever vote for increasing the tax burden or increasing spending, I will turn in my letter of resignation to the Texas Senate within 24 hours.

If I fail to do this, I expect voters to vote against me at the next election, since I clearly cannot be trusted.

The old saying goes, “a new broom sweeps clean”

We need some fresh ideas. Something new. I’m offering you the next four years of my public service and I won’t let you down. I want to build on our great strengths and improve a few areas that need some help.

One question pollAre you for?A. A more active state government

with more services, but higher taxes.

B. A less active state government with fewer services, but lower taxes.

If B, I am clearly your choice!

If you like what you have seen and read, tell your friends, family and neighbors. Then, get

out there and…

VOTE!
