■ Jake Grose is fighting to become the County
Councillor for Richmond. He is 23 years old
and lives in the town with his family.
■ Jake works as a Operations Technician,
whilst studying for his BSc in Engineering
and Technology. Jake works in theengineering industry and has done since
leaving college.
■ Jake is a School governor at Richmond
Methodist School and is committed to the
local community, which is what led him to
stand for County Council.
■ Jake is concerned about our
environment both in terms of keeping
our streets clear of litter and waste
and more long term the need for
recycling and re-using,
■ Jake enjoys simple hobbies such as
cycling and sailing in the local area
and has a keen interest in history and
all the fantastic castles throughout
North Yorkshire.
