Electric vehicles use less energy thangasoline-powered vehicles, their effect

on the environment is much less thanvehicles powered by fossil fuels.

Because electric vehicles are moreefficient than gasoline-poweredvehicles, they cost less to run.

whereas a typical gasoline-poweredvehicle converts only about 20 percent ofthe energy in gasoline into engine energy.

A TOYOTA RAV4-EV costing $0.04 per mile(Rs.1.342 per km) and a gasoline-poweredRAV4 costing $0.16 per mile (Rs. 5.36 per

km) just for fuel.
