Landa has introduced the 20-gpm model to its line of electrocoagula- tion systems for treating extra- complex waste streams. The EC- 20 will process 20 gallons per minute of wastewater thereby doubling the process capability of the existing EC-10 model. ElectroClear (EC) system uses electrocoagulation, an electricity- based technology for treating complex waste streams economi- cally and on-site. The contami- nants that are impossible or too expensive to be removed by filtra- tion and chemical treatment sys- tems. Among these contaminants are emulsified oils, TPH, suspend- ed solids, and heavy metals. EC- treated wastewater typically is of a quality that can be recycled or discharged to a sanitary sewer.
