Kimplas Electro-fusion fitting Purge Tee manufactured in PE80 Yellow grade are Standard SDR 11 rated. For exact recommendations on compatibility, for welding with SDR 9 through SDR 11 pipes, refer Kimplas Technical Specifications Manual. Kimplas Purge Tees are specially designed for direct purging of MDPE 80 Gas mains and distribution pipes of different diameters, both in straight form as well as coiled form. The tees are also used for pressure points and temporary bypass loops on PE Gas piping. Installation : Joint preparation must be done as specified in the installation instructions. Pipe outside surface must be scraped to remove oxidised layer. Before fusing, pipe ends and spigot end of the fittings must be cleaned to remove dirt and contamination.
