The DIGEM 48 x 24 AK5 panel meteris a 31/2 digits display whose casingwas especially developed for gridapplications.

The included mounting elementsallow for installation into all known24 mm grid systems.

The instrument has a display range of± 1 999 digits, which can optionallybe extended to ± 19 990 digits bysetting an additional digit hardwiredto zero.

Decimal points are permanently setin the instrument, by means of solderbridges at the display, in accordancewith the entries on the serial plate.

With measurements of 48 mm x 24mm, this instrument can be fitted intopractically any grid.

Installation in a control desk is possiblebecause of the shallow installationdepth of less than 100 mm.

With the use of coded jumpers and apotentiometer, it is possible to adjustthe display range of the instrument.

The same method can be used to setthe starting point of the measuringrange.

This model is especially suited fordisplay originating from measurementtransducers.

The modular DIGEM 96 x 24 B5 digitalindicator is a high precision panelmeter with a programmable displayrange.

The instrument can be used for multi-ple measuring tasks, depending uponthe installed measuring module.These tasks include:

The display range and decimal pointcan easily be adjusted for the respec-tive measuring tasks.

It is also possible to make subsequentadjustments on site.

The measured values are processedby a microcomputer and displayed ona 7-segment display unit.

The lower and upper display rangevalues can be adjusted with the keyson the front of the panel.

The selected parameters can be pro-tected from unauthorised adjustmentsthrough an external contact on theback of the instrument.

Each instrument is equipped with acontrol input which allows for thestorage of display values to memory,and which freezes the current display.The measuring cycle is not influencedby this function.

In the case of the non-programmablevariant, the settings are preset atmanufacturing time. It is thus onlypossible to make subsequent changesat the factory.

The unit of measure for the measuredquantity is indicated with a small tabthat is inserted into a pocket behindthe faceplate.This can be inserted after installation.

The power supply is electronicallyisolated from the measuring circuit andamounts to, depending on the model,90…230 V AC or 18…36 V DC /24 V AC.

The DIGEM 96 x 48 MB5 is anoverview display in DIN-casing thatallows for a wide measurement rangefor current and voltage.

This instrument is available in twomodels:

� as option F for direct voltage or� as option AC for alternating voltage

and alternating current

The final value of the display can beadjusted in range 1:10 for DCmeasurements. This makes theDIGEM 96 x 48 MB5 suitable formany measuring tasks.

The wide setting range guarantees anuncomplicated adjustment to themeasured variable.

Display and measurement rangepre-selection is accomplished bymeans of a DIP switch, placed at theback of the case.

The decimal point and final values arealso adjustable with this DIP switch.
