FCI’s SFP+ cable assemblies are designed to meet data center, storage networking and high performance computing applicationneeds for a high density cabling interconnect system capable of 10Gb/s per channel transmission rates. These cable assemblies aredesigned to meet the requirements of Small Form Factor industry standard SFF-8431. The SFP+ cables support the bandwidthtransmission requirements as defined by 10Gigabit-Ethernet (10G Base-CU), 8G Fibre Channel (FC) and 10G Fibre Channel overEthernet ( FCoE) specifications

The cable assembly’s printed circuit paddle card has been designed to not only address the stringent mechanical interfacerequirements but also the higher-bandwidth signal integrity requirements for 10Gb/s per channel transmission. It has also beendesigned to accommodate EEPROM cable signature needs as well as address applications for both passive and active equalizedcable assembly applications.
