The Tech-LabTM

F.A.C.E.T.®DeliverySystemAdvanced Windows®-BasedInstructional Tool

Tech-Lab F.A.C.E.T. was designed as aninteractive curriculum system -- not as a man-ual system using standard computer-basedlearning resources. As such, all 26 Tech-LabF.A.C.E.T. courses bring together the power ofmultimedia, graphics, simulation, multitasking, onlinedata collection and management, and interactivity tocreate the most advanced instructional tool for electron-ics training available in the world today.

Only through these advanced automated featuresand shared resources is F.A.C.E.T. able to become afully integrated learning system. The computer-basedcurriculum delivery system makes it possible forstudent data to be collected, scored, analyzed andstored by an automated classroom manager, whichin turn enables instructors to generate reports, trackprogress, rate competencies, assess learningneeds and make appropriate changes to the cur-riculum by means of the F.A.C.E.T. AuthoringSystem.

More Effective Learning --and at Lower Cost

Clearly, Tech-Lab F.A.C.E.T. speeds instruc-tion time while fostering greater retention. Theestimated program hours per exercise for thecomputer-based system is 1.5 hours, as com-pared to two hours per exercise with the tradi-tional manual system.

The entire Tech-Lab F.A.C.E.T. lessonseries is delivered on CD-ROM. Course-ware is available as a complete program, for each of the four areas of study or asindividual courses. This convenience isespecially appealing to program directorswho may wish to purchase circuit boardsand courseware on an as-needed basis. And there is no limit to the number ofworkstations that can run the curricu-lum.
