ECE Dept is organized 2016 IEEE International Conference on Recent Trends in Electronics, Information & Communication Technology (RTEICT) and Fourth state level Inter College Project Competition and Exhibition

Tech talk by Prof. N Balakrishna, SECR,

IISc.

Two days workshop was conducted on August 10th and 11th , 2016 by Intel– Eye Technology ,

Bengaluru . The course objective was to provide the student with a solid understanding Program-

ming with Arduino C , Interfacing the Peripheral devices with Matlab , Working on Serial Com-

munication , Simulink and GUI , DSP & Image Processing with MATLAB and Fundamentals of

State flow with Simulink of the MATLAB solution techniques to the key design issues, so that

the student, when working as industrial designer, is capable of identifying the key problem points

and focus his creative attention. Students were also exposed to recent technologies & develop-

ments in the field of Matlab techniques for design and implementation in the field of DSP and Im-

age processing. The workshop motivated students to develop projects of their own interest. VLSI

MATLAB and SIMULINK Interfacing with Embedded System is a 2 days hands-on designing

program delivered in a workshop format which is best suited to engineering and school students

who are taking their step towards Design of Embedded systems using MatLab and Sim-

ulink .The program focused on introducing participants to the world of MatLab and Simulink in-

terface with Embedded system. . Split over 4 sessions, participants were introduced to various

concepts practically implementing these concepts towards the end of each session
