Contrast happens when two elements on a page are different. For example it happens when two opposing colors are used in a design between the text and the background
or in the size and style of type. Our eyes like contrast.
WHAT IS IT?
![Page 3: Elements of Design: Contrast Lecture](https://reader035.vdocuments.net/reader035/viewer/2022081413/5479c25d5806b56c048b472f/html5/thumbnails/3.jpg)
To achieve contrast the elements must be completely different. But what does contrast really do?
1. Attracts the eye
2. Organizes content/information
3. Creates focus
WHAT DOES IT DO?
