No spillageThe interlocking buckets ensure that there isno spillage at the infeed and because thebuckets never separate, even on vertical lift,the only place your product leaves thebuckets is at the discharge. Even here theTipTrak design allows for a gentle cascadingof product, further reducing degradation.

No moving partsThe TipTrak chain, through its uniquecombination of design and materials, deliverstrouble free operation, year after year, even inthe most demanding industrial environment. There are no roller chains to stretch orbushings to wear out. In fact, there are nomoving parts in the TipTrak chain. The chainruns slack, and after the initial setup, neverneeds adjusting.

Non-metallic construction makes theTipTrak ideal for situations requiring sanitaryor corrosion resistant materials. This featurealso means that our conveyors are quiet. Inshort, the unique TipTrak construction meansthe gentlest handling, the least spillage, thelowest possible maintenance, and the quietestoperation of any mechanical elevating device.

TipTrak is a bucket elevator capable ofrunning from a single drive, bothhorizontally and vertically, or at any angle inbetween. The plastic buckets are trulyinterlocking and never separate.

The heart of the TipTrak design is thepatented TipTrak chain. This is elastomer moulded around and bonded to acore of multiple strands of stainless steelaircraft cable. Similar to a timing belt indesign, it has positive drive. With thestainless steel cable core (which is pre-stressed at the time of moulding to eliminateelongation), the TipTrak drive belt combinesall the advantages of a chain: strength andpositive drive, with the benefits of a belt: nomoving parts, corrosion resistance and longlife. This unique design eliminates the needfor sprockets except at the drive end. At allother points the chain runs in a flangedpulley much like a V-belt in a sheave.

No transfer pointsThese design features deliver importantadvantages. By running horizontally andvertically without transfer points, yourproduct can move from one process to anotherwithout spillage, degradation, dusting orsegregation of blended products.

OPENCONSTRUCTION•at a glance monitoring•easy to clean

Open TipTraks use a square tubing framethat supports but doesn’t enclose thebuckets. They offer economy, ease ofcleaning, and at-a-glance monitoring ofyour operation. They are available incarbon steel and stainless steel. Optionalround tubing can be substituted for thesquare tubing.

Where appropriate, personnel guards canbe fitted to meet relevant safety standardswhilst still providing easy access andmaximum visibility.

P.E.C. CONSTRUCTION• economical,

dust containment• fast delivery

Suitable for most applications, the P.E.C. modeluses “stock” components, allowing for dustcontainment, operator protection, and fast delivery.It can be customized with available options to fityour application requirements. Options includeinlet hoppers with vibratory feeders, speed switchesand discharge assists for sticky products. Coverscan be provided in expanded mesh, clearpolycarbonate and steel sheet.

MONOCOQUECONSTRUCTION• heavy-duty• dust-tight, air-tight• ruggedly built for

demanding applications

All TipTraks can’t be Open or P.E.C. design. Inmany cases, products can be extremely dusty,explosive or corrosive, subject to contamination,hazardous to operators’ health, or the product’sintegrity may be affected by exposure to normalatmospheric conditions. In addition, theapplication may be outdoors, or may call for gas-tight construction, for example when the productrequires a purge gas. The application may alsosubject the unit to positive and/or negativepressure.

For these applications, UniTrak will provide aMonocoque TipTrak. The Monocoque’s heavygauge sheet metal construction has a smooth,clean interior - free of obstructions that cancatch and hold product. Quick access doorsare provided. Construction can be of carbonsteel, stainless steel, or a combination.
