ELEVATED FLARE SYSTEMSEFFECTIVE COMBUSTION FOR SMOKELESS OPERATION

The Tri-Point High Turn Down Ratio Flare (HTDR-Flare) is the innovative emissions reduction solution to achieve smokeless operation and compliance to Quad-O and 40 CFR 60.18 EPA regulations. Utilizing a proprietary tip design, this non-assisted flare ensures there are no visible smoke emissions across the full operational range of just a few ounces of pressure to in excess of 30 psig. The Tri-Point HTDR Elevated Flare utilizes a variable orifice design to safely and efficiently combust Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) emissions in excess of 98% efficiency. One HTDR-Flare allows for the inclusion of both high pressure and low pressure gas streams in a single device, mitigating the requirement for multiple flares.

HTDR-FLARE PRODUCT LINE

APPLICATIONS• Oil and Gas Production Operations• Crude Oil Storage Batteries• Midstream Facilities• Offshore Platforms• Gas Processing

• Mining Operations• Landfills• Petrochemical and Chemical• Petroleum Refining• Anywhere smokeless flaring is required

STANDARD FEATURES• Flare Tip made of stainless steel construction• Wind resistant retractable electric ignition pilot with thermocouple assembly• Built in wind shroud that induces sufficient air to the flare tip for proper mixing and

combustion throughout the operating range• Flare stacks are mounted on base plate with guyed support for easy installation• Various flow capacities for high and low pressure application eliminating the need for

multiple flares• Simple Single flare tip configuration for safe operation• Patent pending technology• Max Capacities meet EPA 40 CFR 60.18 with less than 400 ft/sec exit fuel gas velocities.

BENEFITS• Operates smokeless throughout entire range of flow; from purge to 100% capacity• High turndown ratio of >50:1• Designed for easy tip access and maintenance (flanged connections, simple assembly)• Retrofit replacement for other manufacturers’ flare tips• Field proven 98%+ combustion VOC destruction efficiency• Scalable design encompassing multiple models with a range of operating capacities

COMPLIANCE• Designed to meet EPA 40 CFR 60.18 requirements• Standard models can be customized to meet individual requirements upon request

OPTIONS• Flare/Burner Management Systems• Continuous pilot• In-Line Detonation Flame Arresters• Upstream liquid knockout

• Cable/Anchor Tie Down Kits• Ladder and Platforms• Dual pressure stream operation (HP/LP

dual streams)

PRODUCT MODEL SPECIFICATIONS

VARIABLE FLOW CAPACITY OPERATION REPLACEMENT FLARE TIPS

Tri-Point HTDR flare operates with a variable area nozzle that optimizes air and waste gas mixing for 100% smokeless operation as the gas stream pressure varies. Specially oriented “pilot” ports allow for ounce pressure operation when the gas pressure is low and main nozzle area is closed.

If the flare you are currently operating is smoking and not meeting the requirements of EPA 40 CFR 60.18, The Tri-Point High Turn Down Ratio Flare replacement tips are a safe and economical retrofit option. Our flanged connection allows the HTDR model line to easily replace other manufacturers’ ineffective flare tips. The Tri-Point Service team can replace your flare tip today!
