Help parents create a consortium of 4 parents with an endowment to sustain their expenses Use university students in a glorified R.A. position as light daily support Give the person with disability more of their monthly income & create opportunities for
enrichment, self-determination and social development

WHAT ABOUT SUPERVISION? Natural supports such as a college student
can help a person with a disability have a role model to emulate.
Having a college student as a natural support gives them an opportunity to learn how to respectfully interact with and motivate a person with a disability in their future profession.
Having a university student handle a great amount of the supervision, it creates an opportunity to promote friendships while reducing expenses for the university student.

Person with Disability
Reiss Aggression/Personality tool

THE ASKAre families interested in the current models? Are there more sustainable scenarios?Does the cost of the family consortium depend upon the
values of the houses and areas being sought? How many families are interested in this? How many
families could be served by this model? What would the impact be upon the disability community?
