2.1 Electric SupplThree phase, 50 c/s, 415 V electric supply shall be made available. The entire liftequipment should be suitable for operation at 10 ! to " #0 ! of the rated supply

    volta$e.

2.2 !e"rle## $"c%i&eThe $earless machine shall consist of a motor, traction sheave and brea%&drum or bra%edisc completely ali$ned on a sin$le shaft. 'earless machine shall be (.). $earless withVVV* drive.

2.' S%e"(e# :+heaves and pulleys shall be of hard alloy, cast iron, +' iron or steel and free from

crac%s, sand holes and others defects. They shall have machined rope $rooves. Thetraction sheave shall be $rooved to produce proper traction and shall be of sufficientdimension to provide for wear in the $roove. The deflector sheave shall be $rooved so asto provide a smooth bed for the rope. The deflector or secondary sheave assemblieswhere used shall be mounted in proper ali$nment with the traction sheave. +uchdeflector sheaves shall have $roves lar$er than rope diameter as specified in clause of -+ 14 5 art " 4 " +ec 2 3 #000. The si e of all the sheaves shall be in accordancewith clause .4 of -+ 14 54 art " 4 " +ec 2 3 #000. herever necessary suitable
