Bred by Hans Jrgen Evers (Germany, before 2000). Introduced in Germany by Rosen-Tantau/Tantau Roses in 2000 as 'Elfe'.
Variety or Cultivar: 'Elfe' _ 'Elfe' is an upright, deciduous shrub with thorny stems bearing pinnate leaves divided into glossy, toothed, dark green leaflets and clusters of lightly fragrant, double, pale yellow flowers from late spring into autumn.
Climbing.
Flower: Pale-yellow in Spring; Pale-yellow in Summer; Pale-yellow in Autumn. Mild, fruity fragrance. up to 50 petals. Average diameter 4". Large, very full (41+ petals), old-fashioned, quartered bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season. Foliage: Dark-green in Spring; Dark-green in Summer; Dark-green in Autumn
