Here it is September already. Fall is my favorite season, for me it’s the colors, cooler weather and renewed energy that I have after those lazy days of summer. I’ve pulled out my Halloween fabrics and I’m planning that haunted house quilt that I’ve been thinking about for a while. Thanks to Linda Munday for sharing with us her collection of post WW II quilts, aren’t we lucky to have the fabrics and notions that are available now – bless the person who designed the rotary cutter and mat. It’s not too late to pick-up a bag for the “Ugly Fabric” block challenge or if you think you have an ugly that you’d like to use I’ll be happy to send you the challenge rules. Just a final word, please keep in mind that we are guests of the First Baptist Church of Elk Grove and need to be respectful and courteous to the members and their activities.

Procrastinate – it frees up time to quilt.

Be sure to be at the September meeting to learn from another of our tal-ented members.
