CONTENTS
After studying French and Spanish at the University of Exeter,I joined the corporate world and worked there for nearly fouryears before deciding to enrol at KLC School of Design.Having lived in many homes and helping to design my father’sLondon home as well as my own apartment, I knew I had aneye for design and became passionate about creating spaceswhere people can feel their most comfortable and at peace.Embracing the old and incorporating it with the new is at theheart of my design aesthetic, while adding colour and patternto top it off.

Elevation and section to show full run of cabinets as well as the island
Brief:To design a kitchen, living and dining area for a ground floor extension in Balsall Common. The client had an eclectic, almost bohemian sense of style.
Analysis:Zoning the space with lighting and clever use of furniture would be key to break up such a large space. Making the most of the south west orientation of the extension with large bi-fold doors would embrace the sunlight throughout the day.

Brief:To design a concept, sample board and 3D visuals for a basement guest suite in Barnes Village, London.The client wanted something timeless and welcoming.
Analysis:Due to the location and orientation of this basement suite, rather than trying to create a light, bright and airy space, I think the key is to embrace the evening light and build a cosy and mellow environment to achieve the goal of a warm and tranquil space.
