International GT Open

The International GT Open was created in 2006 by former sportscar driver Jesus Pareja.

GT Sport has been the official organizer for a decade of the Spanish GT

and F3 championships.

In 2012, the series will enter its seventh edition, having enjoyed a growing success

in terms of excellence and quality of entries, interest raised,

exposure and geographical expansion.

Today, the GT Open attracts a growing number of expert GT teams and drivers

GT Open 2012 events

The International GT Open is an FIA-sanctioned series

Rules are established for an overall title for drivers, two driver titles per category (Super GT and GTS), and two for teams (Super GT and GTS)

New for 2012 are created Manufacturer’s Trophies for Super GT and GTS

Handicaps are applied to the three first classified in each category in the previous race and consisting of 15, 10 and 5 sec, which can be accumulated up to a maximum of 30 sec.

Drivers score and sum up points individually, are awarded to the first nine positions according to the scale:12-10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1Additional points areawarded to the five first positions by category (SuperGT and GTS), according to the scale10-8-6-4-3. This scale is also used for the class and Teams standings.

In 2012, the International GT Open will partner all events with its sister series,

the European F3 Open, one of the leading single-seaters series in Europe

Partner series such as the FIA Formula 2 and prestigious mono-brand trophies such as the

Radical Cup, the Trofeo Maserati and others will further enhance the events package

Other exciting projects which will keep the GT Open community busy during the winter

reces and bring it to discover new territories, are being developped.

To ensure a near-perfect television product, the organization takes care directly of the

whole broadcasting production,

avoiding interaction whith any other producer broadcasting.

This give us direct control over every aspect of the broadcasting production and

the final check on the format that will be then uplinked to the satellite from where any

television provider can get acces to download it for their broadcasting

LIVE web streamingIn 2011 Ellegy Limited in collaboration with Matrox ® and Telestream ® worked on the

development of a new generation multi ingest video Hardware and the evolution for

the well known brodcasting software Wirecast PRO.

This new technology has allowed us to stream LIVE on internet and on any mobile

device all the 2011 season’s races adding many more contents and live cameras than

the standard TV broadcasting format.

The whole 2012 season will be streamed LIVE on internet for free, every race will also be

watchable on any mobile device, Iphone/Ipad, on the GT Open’s web TV,

on the official Livestream and facebook page of the seires.

Fans can also share easly and for free the LIVE video on any social page or website in

just two clicks using the embed codes.

This technology will also allow our partner the option to broadcast the races LIVE

on their website

where fans can find every video produced during the race

weekend such as Interviews, highlights or even whole races,

and watch them at any time in a great HD quality for free.

The European Formula 3 Open was created in 2002 by GT Sport.

Since then the series has evolved from a national F3 championship into

the most interesting F3 series and, in particular the one which has the best

return on investment in the category.

enjoyed a growing success in terms of quantity and quality of

entries, interest raised, a high level of competitiveness on the

track and an excellent television coverage at an international

At the same time, this series provides the essential stepping

stone to enter the F-1 world fully prepared, thanks to the

award offered to the champion at the end of the season:

the Formula 1 Super-license.

Drivers that have had the European F3 Open as

ERC’s TV production

Ellegy Ltd will directly take care of the TV production with the staff of our media branch.

As in 2011, we will be present at all the events filming every stage of the rallies and

producing a 24 minute format that will be broadcast frist on MotorsTV the Friday after the

race weekend, and then worldwide the following Monday.

After the first televesion trasmission the whole format will be available on the internet

as well, on the official FIA ERC webTV

can easly find every video produced during the season and

watch them at any time in great HD quality for free.

Every Video is produced in the new HTML5 format in line to

Ipad and android included.

The VOD will be also free to embed, allowing everyone the

option to share the selected video on their blogs, website or
