Email Integration

There are number of ways in Eyeagile to track project progress. One of the best way is to manage your project and track each and every activity by the new feature called Email Integration. Now you will be able to manage your project via Email.

Account configuration for emailBefore you can start using your Email for managing your project activities, you need to first configure your email with EyeAgile. Your Eyeagile email address will be- [email protected]. To know your customer code and project, contact your administrator.How to use Email integration feature I am an existing userIf you are already an existing user in the system and have been allocated a project then you can simply start managing your project activities via email which is registered in system.How to use Email integration feature I am a new userEven if you are not a registered user you can still send an email to EyeAgile to manage your project activities. For example, you want to view the list of requirement in your project.

If you are not a registered user, you will receive a notification email from EyeAgile, with the details to get registered in the system.

After registered with Eyeagile, send your request again

After clicking on the activation link you will be asked to change your password. Afterwards you are good to use your Email for managing your project.

Managing requirement via EmailView your requirement via EmailIn order to view the requirements of your project via email, simply email at [email protected]. In the given example, the customer code is sample, project code is alm.

This will show you the last 7 days updated requirement Email at [email protected],To know more, contact your admin

You will receive an email notification from EyeAgile where you will see all the updated requirements of the last 7 days.

This is how you will see requirements for last 7 days-

You can click any requirement right from your inbox to view its details.

Add requirement via EmailIn order to add requirement via Email, you just need to add requirement name in the subject and its details in the body of your email. You can also attach documents directly from your email.

Add description of the requirement in the bodyAttach document to the requirement#reqWhenever you add a requirement via email, it will be added at the root level. This is how your requirement will added in your system-

The status of your requirement will be Being defined since it is not accepted by your PM/BA

Update requirement via EmailYou can easily change your requirement details and post and update to a requirement via email. Simply write the updated information in the body of your email and keep the subject same or simply reply to the previous mail.

Manage your task via EmailEyeagile email interface feature will help you to easily track your tasks made by you and assigned to you.

Note: If you havent added any email address in CC field then the task will be assigned to PM by default.

View your task via emailIn order to view tasks, you simply need to write #task in the subject line and send it to the EyeAgile email.

Simply write #task to view the list of task updated in last 7 days

In your inbox you will see the task created by you in last 7 days and the one that is assigned to you.

Update task via Email

You can easily change/update the details and post and update atask via email. Simply write the updated information in the body of your email and keep the subject same or simply reply to the previous mail.

Managing bugs via Email

In EyeAgile, you can create, view and share a bug/defect via email with your team members.

Simply write #bug to view list of defect

Each defect is linked to reach its details in the system.

You will see a list of defects raised by you in last 7 days, assigned by you and the list of defects which have been updated in last 7 days.
