When Canon Tony Bouwmeester of St. John’s, Port Rowan first visited Rwanda in 2006, he visited the community of Vunga with Bishop Jered Kalimba of the Rwandan Diocese of Shyogwe. Bishop Kalimba showed Bouwmeester, and the group he was with, an empty field by the river delta. “The government has given us this land,” the bishop said. “We want to build a

Robert Daniel MacRae, first secretary of The Primate’s World Relief and Development Fund (PWRDF), former rector of St. John the Divine Anglican Church in Victoria, B.C. and archdeacon of Juan de Fuca, diocese of British Columbia, died on August 1 after a short illness. PWRDF National Gathering November 4-8, 2015Board members, Diocesan Representatives and Youth Council members will meet in Toronto at St Paul’s Anglican Church in early November. This national gathering will bring together networks to collaborate, teach and learn from each other.The Annual General Meeting will take place on Saturday November 7th.
