Most acute care hospitals within the participating provinces/territories will be included in CHRP, pending data availability and appropriate indicator volume thresholds.
Quebec results will be included for all of the financial indicators as well as the following clinical indicators and for specific fiscal years only:
• 90-Day Readmission After Hip Replacement (rate per 100) for fiscal years 2008-2009 through to 2009-2010
• 90-Day Readmission After Knee Replacement (rate per 100) for fiscal years 2008-2009 through to 2009-2010
• 30-Day Readmission (Overall, Obstetric, Paediatric, Adult Surgical, Adult Medical) for fiscal year 2009-2010
• Caesarean Section Rate: excluding pre-term and multiple gestations (rate per 100) for fiscal years 2008-2009 through to 2009-2010

Hip Fracture Surgical Procedures Performed Within 48H: Wait Time Across Facilities (rate per 100)
 This indicator measures the proportion of hip fracture surgical procedures performed within 48 hours of admission.
For this indicator, a higher rate is more desirable.
Caesarean Section Rate: Excluding Pre-Term and Multiple Gestations (rate per 100)
 This indicator measures the rate of deliveri es via Caesarean section (C-section), excluding pre-term and multiple-gestation pregnancies.
Since unnecessary C-section delivery increases maternal morbidity and mortality and is associated with higher costs, C-section rates are often used to monitor clinical practices. The implicit assumption is that lower rates indicate more appropriate as well as more efficient care.
Use of Coronary Angiography Following Acute Myocardial Infarction (rate per 100)
 This indicator measures the rate of fir st acute myocardial infarction (AMI) inpatient admissions that have coronary angiography within the episode of care.
Vaginal Birth After Caesarean Section (rate per 100)
 This indicator measures the rate of women who delivered vaginally aft er previously having had a Caesarean section (C-section).
28-Day Readmission After Acute Myocardial Infarction (rate per 100)
 This indicator measures the rate of unplanned readmissions within 28 days of  discharge for an acute myocardial infarction (AMI) episode of care.

 This indicator measures the rate of In-Hospital deaths due to all causes occurring within 30 days after the first acute myocardial infarction (AMI) admission to an acute care hospital.
