The Argentine Migration Office enforces the Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) for citizens of

India that require a Business visa in the Argentine Republic .

The eTA reaches to Indian holders of valid and current ordinary passports, who travel for Business

purpose to the Argentine Republic. For this, they need in an exclusive manner to be holders of a

valid current category B1 visa issued by the United States of America, or a category C visa issued by

one of the States of the EUROPEAN UNION that make up the Schengen area of free movement of

persons, or other States that are part of the Schengen area, provided that the Argentine Migration

Office can verify the validity of visas with the authorities of the aforementioned States.

The validity of the visas (Validity of above mentioned visa/s should be 6 months from intended date

of application) that includes both the term of resolution of the eTA by the Argentine Migration

Office, and the period of three (3) subsequent months in which it would be authorized to enter the

national territory.

The eTA for Business will have a validity of THREE (3) consecutive months as from its issuance.

The stay in the country authorized in the transitory-Business qualification for the applicant will be

THREE (3) consecutive months from the first entry allowing multiple entries and exits. Likewise, the

authorized stay may be extended only once for a similar period, prior evaluation of the

IMMIGRATION SERVICES OFFICE.

REQUIREMENTS TO APPLY ETA/AVE

1. Passport must be valid for 6 Months from intended date of travel.

2. US B1/B2 Visa valid for 6 months atleast.

3. Schengen Visa Type C valid for atleast 6 months.

4. Sworn statement that proves that there are no previous convictions or criminal proceedings

pending in other countries.

5. Inform activities that will be carried out in Argentina and their duration, in English or Spanish

on company letter head.

6. Evidence of the activity carried out (commercial references, MOA/Articles of incorporation of

the companies, certification of the existence of the company, etc.)

7. All documentation that the DNM considers to accredit the criteria invoked should be in English

or Spanish.

PROCEDURE:

The applicant must start the processing of the AVE, through the official website of the DNM

www.migraciones.gov.ar, entering through the Travel Authorization Payment icon and selecting

the option for Electronic Travel Authorization. You must access the payment platform in the first

instance and then complete the application form.

The applicant must make the payment of the retributive rate of services set at US $ 50, through

the platform of electronic payments. Once the payment is completed, the system will issue a

receipt with an identification code (ID) that will enable the applicant to continue with the

Procedure.

With the ID obtained from the payment of the aforementioned remuneration fee, the applicant

must complete the application form of the AVE. The form must be completed in its entirety,

without errors or skips, in Spanish or English.

Once the AVE/ETA application form is completed, the system will request that the

documentation be attached in PDF format.

A full copy of applicant's passport (ALL PAGES) should be enclosed in color, including blank

Pages. Among them must be the visa granted by the United States of America or one of the

member states of the European Union that make up the Schengen area or other states that are part

of the Schengen area, these elements being exclusive of the present procedure.

If the passport or document images are not clear or they are not readable, the procedure may be

denied, reserving the DNM the right to intimate the applicant to submit the missing

documentation within a peremptory period. Said communication will be sent to the e-mail

address consigned by the applicant. If in 90 days it does not respond to the summons, the

procedure is denied.

Only one request can be generated in the name of the same person until its approval or denial. A

new application cannot be generated while there is a valid AVE request is PENDING.

The DNM will resolve the Request within 20 working days, approving or denying the AVE/ETA

and informing by email to the address provided by the applicant at the time of initiating the

loading of the application form. If approved, it will be attached in the email.

The validity of the AVE/ETA is 90 consecutive days counting from its issuance, allows multiple

entries, and allows a term of stay of 3 months, from the FIRST entry.
