EMBEDDING A SHELFARI WIDGET

IN YOUR BLOGED BLOG

First you need to go to the shelfari website and collect the books you want to include and add them to your shelf . Then click on the home tab and this page will appear.

On the right hand side is Your Content.

Select the widgets item

Choose theFlash widget .

Remember java does not work on bogED

Now fill in your preferred options

Here are the options I used.You can customize the colour and the size .

When you are happy copy the embed code here.

Navigate to your blog and go to the blog settings.

Near the bottom of the blog design page you will see the available widgets menu. We are looking for the text html widget . Click add .

When the empty box pops up paste the Shelfari code here and give your widget a title . Then click save

Scroll to the bottom of the page and update your blog settings.

Now check out your blog sidebar and admire your new bookshelf.

Remember you can install lots of other widgets using the

same method . Remember to use

html or flash code and avoid iframes and java

which will not work with blogED
