Dearest AL ANSARI FAMILY,

First of all let me wish all my Al Ansari Family members a Happy & Healthy 2017. Make good thoughts the treasures of your life and you will succeed.

The year 2016, has been a challenging year for most of our divisions. In spite of the challenges our Steel Trading activity and Marketing division have fared very well. We congratulate the teams and

the leaders for their achievements. Our Contracting division is facing several issues that we need to address. We have restructured our teams in that division with the hope to better enable us to sail through these tough times. In 2016 we have had several deserved promotions - Mr Sajeevan (promoted from CEO to Director of Marketing), Mr Sajan Jose (promoted from General Manager to CEO of SBU2) and Mr Deepak Seru (promoted from General Manager to CEO of SBU1). We congratulate them all and wish them all the best in their new roles.

Our associates Kimoha family is leading in this role by being recipient for the 4th time as winner of CSR initiative Award by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce. Kudos to Kimohians.

The year 2016 has taught us to always do your best as winning is not everything, but wanting to win is.

Although our AL ANSARI Family is really blessed and very fortunate to have enough on their plates to ride through year 2017; we must remember that comfort zone is the most dangerous area anyone can stay in. It becomes a place of No Growth

and No Challenges. Because of this scenario, we have decided to theme this issue as “Embrace the Volatility and Challenges to make a Stronger Tomorrow”.

Economic outlook worldwide seems volatile, uncertain and complex with currency swings, unrest in many parts of the world, complexities such as convergence of industries, greener planet pressures, rapidly growing population and rapid automation. The GCC is facing even bigger challenges with

weaker oil prices and cash pressures. We feel that along with spreading our wings and thinking/doing globally, we must be aware of the happenings in this world and always keep them at the forefront of our business plans.

We have to remain vigilant and nimble as well as continue to strive for profitability and growth without tarnishing our brand in the market. Communication is King, our Family members are our pillars of strength, ability to remain agile and conserve cash is important. We advise that we all must look at New products, New Markets and Organic growth opportunities. We must also take all our Family members along and work as one solid Team on this difficult journey ahead. We must continue to give back to the community that has enabled us to create our home/company. Let’s be supportive to the local Governments in their initiatives of Tanfeedh in Oman, Expo 2020 in UAE, Football World Cup 2022 in Qatar etc. Optimism and clear conscience are the signs of a well-balanced life.

The struggle that one suffers today is sure to develop into the strength that one needs in future. All that is required for success is a vision of the destination. The journey itself will reveal the means

to take us there. Let’s take up all the challenges and march forward as a team to perform super in 2017.

Change comes from constructive thoughts and sound actions, not just by complaining or thinking that someone else should do something else.

2016 has been a complex year on many fronts. The lowered oil prices, paucity of Projects, uncertainty of future and reduction in cash flow have caused several issues in the industry in general and we are no exception. It is this environment which makes me convey to all of you to understand things comprehensively and not from fragmented pockets. As a company, we have a huge amount of outstanding. Just imagine the amount of pressure we are facing with suppliers, subcontractors, bankers and for paying salaries in time. In terms of comparison it amounts to multiple times of monthly staff salary for CD.

We have filed over 7 legal cases with some of our clients for failure to make payments. This is unprecedented in the history of our company. What needs to be understood is that the delays of payment by each day add significant pressure and the risk we are exposed to. The cost of the project which is already on paper with thin margin comes under further pressure with increased interest charges. We have to reflect and create ways to reduce the outstanding payment recovery to tilt the balance in our favour. However everything is not gloomy as one would imagine. I would like to highlight some of our positive achievements first, and secondly things that need to change.

SBU-1 • Deepak Seru is promoted to be CEO of the entire contracting activity.

• The ROP STF project in Salalah has been completed on time, within budget and has received commendable feedback from our Client, ROP. I am truly proud of this as this is the largest project we have completed and that too in a

distant location like Salalah. Well done Baby Wilson and the entire Salalah team.

• MEP division is now entrusted in the leadership of Prasanna Shetty, who has streamlined the team and has worked diligently to ensure that many of our past

payments are collected.

Water Division: This division has gone through an entire overhaul and needs a lot of improvement on all fronts. Let us hope that the difficulties, challenges and the customer’s expectations to meet with stringent requirement would enable us to get the best out of us. I am sure we have the resilience and the ability to turn it around. All of us need to commit to this and exert their best efforts.

SBU-2• Sajan’s promotion as CEO of SBU2 has brought wonders. Al Ansari’s image in the market has shifted from being a contracting company to a trading company. 80% of the turnover of our group is generated from SBU2 and Marketing Division. We have opened up two more branches this year and I look forward to Sajan Jose’s contribution to enhance our performance in our activities.

• Rebar, Electroplating and ICR: all these divisions are showing consistent growth and are retaining their positions as leaders.

claims are certified efficiently. I expect our finance team also to pay more attention to these aspects and find ways to raising the alarm the moment any project gets into concerning over dues.

• Most staff are unaware of all the costs that we as a company bear. We will be conducting more cost awareness presentations during the ensuing year. I want everyone to realize the costs we carry and understand the corresponding responsibility.

• Contractual Awareness: The Haya Project with Water Division has been a very expensive learning curve for the company. We could have saved many issues if we were aware of the implicating Contractual clauses. I want more of our staff learning contractual issues so that we are not stuck up into complex issues.

Going forward, the only way we will succeed as a Group is if all of you are constantly trying to improve your understanding of the various dynamics of the business,

your own responsibility in that framework and perform at the highest level of commitment. We need to improve our knowledge and exposure by continuous learning. I want all of you to ensure that you engage in some kind of learning. We, as a company, will follow the three C principle.

Commitment: We have to uphold our commitments. Ensure that you participate actively and passionately in the Commitment Day.

Communication: All of us have to try and improve our writing and speaking skills. Read more, write more and volunteer for Presentations. The most important thing is to share what you have learnt with others at the right time with the right spirit.

Commercial Sense: Everyone needs to improve their commercial sense and suggest innovative ways to improve our image and the bottom line.

Last and foremost, the most important aspect of life is your health. I want Al Ansari to be looked upon as an organization that has mentally and physically fit people. Try and participate in sports and other activities that increase your vitality and energy. This is important for your family members as well. Simple thing towards that end for those who stay and work at Ghala - participate in Jump Start every day. It is a treatment to the mind, soul and the body. Stay Fit and Stay Young.

Yusuf Nalwala

Marketing DivisionOur marketing division is now referred to as SBU3. Under the leadership of Director Sajeevan, we have grown not only in the Oman market but also in Saudi, Qatar and UAE. This is the result of the visionary approach of the team. This has increased our top line, our turnover with our Principals and put our foot into the door to explore more opportunities and carrying out our business across geographical boundaries.

SBU2 and above activity both have recorded the highest profit for the company in its entire history. This is truly remarkable as the times have been bad and despite such challenging environment these two teams have done remarkably well. Management extends compliments to both the teams and expect them to continue to improve their performances.

Natural Stone:Two major milestones: Our new State of the Art factory is up and running and we have doubled our capacity. Second, we participated in MRM Business Excellence Award. I am sure there were extended hours that were spent in the participation of this award. However, it is believed that such opportunities offer us better insight into many management, controls and balances of our normal business. I would like to thank everyone who participated in this process.

I would like to congratulate our Executive Director Adnan Nalwala for his vision, and interest in participating for this event. I hope the divisions will consider participation in such events in coming year.

Noteworthy issues on other fronts:• We conducted our Safety Week for the year in SBU1 and SBU 2. This was well conducted program which served as a good eye opener on many fronts for many people. Certain weaknesses and certain improvement were embraced that would improve our visibility as Safety Practicing Contractor in the country.

• We had two company off-sites. One of them was conducted by Executive Director Adnan Nalwala which discussed good leadership values and was found to be useful and beneficial to many in the company. I hope all those who participated are using the tools explained during the program to become better leaders.

Issues:• The competition for the SBU1 has become very intense. Our QS team and think tank need to find ways of becoming more effective and compelling our regular clients to consider additional premium on our prices for our quality and safety practices. Old ideas have lost their edge and are not going to be effective.

• Full focus on Payment collections. This is the utmost priority – the fundamental reason, why we are in the business. We have to ensure that everyone puts maximum attention on collections. Project team must create specific responsibility matrix to ensure that our

STF complex at Salalah: Special Task Force Complex Project at Salalah has been successfully completed and Client has inaugurated the facility on 14th November 2016 and we have got tremendous appreciation from client for the quality of works and completion of the project as per their requirement. This is the largest project completed

by Al Ansari, in terms of contract value and built-up area. This Project, spanning over a period of 33 Months, was manned by an average 800 Workers and around 15 staff. There were 81 subcontractors including nominated contractors to carry out this 375,000 m2 built up area project.

STF Complex Project, Salalah, has celebrated the completion of 4 Million Safe Man Hours with zero LTI as on 28/11/15, and we have completed 7 Million safe man hours with zero LTI till now.

Seeb Mosque Project: Mosque Building - Major structures such as Minaret (60m height) - 2 Main Prayer Hall & Main Entrance Dome has been completed and finishing works are in Progress.

Other Ancillary Buildings Structures have been completed and finishing works are in ProgressNSC: Gypsum works in Progress. HE-RCA

visited the site and appreciated the quality & HSE practices being followed at site.

WadiKabir Wastewater Project: Handed over Aynt, Darsait, Network & Pumping station, Hamriya & Ruwi trunk 100% completed network in all respect and Network is used by client. Dry Connection work for Wadi Kabir 100% completed. Hamriya wet connection completed & handed over to the Client.

Police Station Complex at Jibal:

Complex of Police Station with Recreation Centre, Workshop, Service Yard, Kitchen and Accommodation for 24 officers, 320 PCs and 32 Kitchen and serving Crew, Prison Cells accommodating 80 Prisoners, is being completed in agreed time for ROP. Final finishes of Police Station Building and external works are in full swing. Project is planned for completion in all respects by March 2017. ROP higher officials and their Audit team visited site and appreciated Progress and quality of Works.

B3B Al Khuwair Wastewater Project: An overall progress of 44.23%, 12.5 kms of pipe installation and 3.8 kms of microtunelling achieved for the project. Wet Connections are anticipated to begin in January 2017. Investigation Works are also in progress for Existing Network along

SBU-1 Contracting Division - CivilMr. Deepak Seru, Sr. General Manager - Civil Projects, has been promoted to CEO SBU 1. He has been with Al Ansari for more than 8 years. As CEO SBU 1, he will be responsible for all contracting activities in Civil, MEP & Water disciplines. In addition, he has significantly contributed to the Group through his knowledge and understanding of contractual issues. He very well deserves this promotion and we are confident that he will serve as a role model to our large team of engineers and technical staff. Al Ansari family wishes him continued success.

with New Sewer Lines. Efforts are being made to Increase Progress in Irrigation line works.

132KV/33KV Substations at Sinaw & Samad: Civil Works for 2 Nos Primary Grid Substations, consisting of 2 Nos GSS/Control Room buildings, Transformer Yard, Capacitor Yard, connecting Cable Trenches, Gantries, is happening in full swing with High HSE standards and planned to complete Sinaw one by 31.07.2017 and Samad one by 31.12.2017. OETC is happy on our mobilization and site setup. This project has built confidence on us, and got the Balance Civil works of Al Dreez Substation. Where earlier contractor failed to deliver. Consultants Matt Mc Donald appreciated for our quality of Works at Al Dreez.

Balance Civil works for 132KV/33KV Primary Grid Substation at Adreez:

Balance Civil Works for 132KV/33KV Primary Grid Substations, consisting of Gantry Foundations, External Works like Firefighting System, Area Lighting, CCRTV Networks, Roads, Rip Rap and Storm water Drain was awarded, as existing civil contractor failed to meet the Project requirements. This is fast track project to complete in 3 months, which is almost complete with High HSE standards and planned to handover by 31.01.2017.

Auxiliary Buildings and Under Ground Facilities for IPP at Sohar Port: Tejun (Sepco) has awarded us the Power plant works, based on our performances on other projects. Works in full swing and we are ahead of the project schedule. Client is increasing the scope considering our performance.

SBU-1 Contracting Division - Water

• Design, Build, Operation & Maintenance of the Al Amerat Waste water Treatment plant, Pumping stations and Treated Effluent Works – The Construction is in full flow

• Duqm STP – Substantial Completion certificate received.

• STP at Jabal Akthar Commissioned successfully.

Projects handed over successfully to Client, during the second half of 2016:-• Sultan Qaboos Mosque at Bukha - Sub Contract for HVAC Works • Offices for DG of General Affairs at Mawaleh – Sub contract for HVAC Works.

• New CCC Head Quarter Building at Shati Al Qurum – Sub Contract for Electro Mechanical Works.

• 20 Class Room Girls School at Al Seeb – Sub contract for MEP works.

Special Task Force ComplexPhase-1 & 2, at Salalah The final testing and commissioning of Electrical and Plumbing installations, are going on in full swing to handover the project to client, including snagging works.

Other Ongoing projects are :• Sayyidah Fatma Bint Ali Al Said Mosque (Khamis Al Haboos) at Seeb – Sub Contract for MEP Works • Police Station Complex at Jibel– Sub-Contract for MEP Works.

• Sultan Qaboos Mosque project at Shinas, SubContract for MEP Works.

• Labour Care Office at Rustaq – Sub Contract forElectrical and Plumbing works

• Coast Guard Police Station at Al Taqa – SubContract for MEP Works

Subsequent to the Mentoring and training of skilled technicians at MEP during first half of 2016, identified and upgraded 5 of our skilled technicians to supervisory level, in their respective trades.

CA. Sajan Jose, General Manager Allied Businesses, has been promoted to CEO Allied Businesses. He has been with Al Ansari for more than 7 years. Under his leadership, SBU 2 has grown many fold in terms of both Revenue as well as Bottom line. He is a thorough professional and a dynamic leader, and sincerely deserves this promotion. Al Ansari family is proud of his achievements and wishes him even more success in years to come.

SBU-2 Building Material Trading - BMT

Overall year 2016 was The Best year so far, for Building Material Trading Division. Kudos to the whole BMT team which made this happen. Proactive dynamic strategies under the leadership of Mr. Sajan Jose and hardworking team, enabled to maximize the returns in these difficult times.

Steel prices were fluctuating during the second half of the year and we witnessed a tough 3rd quarter with fall in prices as well as reduced steel demand, followed up with a slight recovery in the 4th Quarter. Due to absence of new major projects, the steel demand is reducing month on month, which is affecting all the steel players adversely.

To offset the reduced demand from the Corporate Project segment, we continued to expand our retail sales network to increase the customer base. We opened our 11th Sales Outlet in November 2016, new one in Mabelah. We intend to open more sales outlets in the coming year also and we believe that is the only way to retain the market share and withstand the pressure due to the low demand.

Our strategic alliance with Jindal Shadeed Iron and Steel LLC as their distributor for selling their Jindal Panther Rebar have started showing good results and we are able to capture some segments where in Oman made steel only is approved.

Two steel Mills in Oman are expanding their production capacity. With the combination of more supply and less demand, can unbalance the equilibrium in the steel sector.

Moving forward we feel, year 2017 will be a year with more challenges, especially due to the tight cash flow situation, low steel demand and excess production

capacity. We are preparing ourselves to face these new challenges and changing our strategies accordingly to suit to the changing times. Recovery in Oil prices is giving us hope and expect good results in the year 2017 also.

Rebar cut and Bend Second half of the year was hit badly due to the low steel demand especially from the Corporate Project segment.

Since the first half of the year 2016 was very good, we managed to achieve our business plan target.

Instrumentation, Calibration & Projects Year 2016 was one of The Best year for Instrumentation, Calibration & Projects Division. We managed to achieve a revenue growth of 6% Year on Year and this is the record turnover so far for the division.

We have shifted our laboratory and reception office to our Ghala Corporate Building. New Office was inaugurated by our Managing Director Mr. Yusuf Nalwala (above) on 20th November 2016. Same day we celebrated the Oman National Day in the office with the active participation of all the employees.

As a part of offering better and effective services to our clients, we have designed and made a mobile testing unit in which all the major instruments required for the Calibration are assembled in a Container. which is converted to a mini Calibration Lab. We have mobilized this unit for its first job in Salalah II Independent Power Project Site.

Our efforts to add more products into our product range continued in the second half of the year also. Vanguard Instruments Company Inc., US Based Reputable manufacturer for the Transformer Turns Ratio & Winding Resistance Meters, Current

Transformer Testers, etc. appointed Al Ansari as their authorized distributor for their products in Sultanate of Oman.

Electroplating During the last quarter of 2016, Electroplating grabbed some major orders, which in turn helped the division to improve their sales. We witnessed a revenue growth of 6% year on year. Our carried forward order is also very good. So we expect a good start for the year 2017.

Security Systems & Lighting This year we had remarkable sales growth and extended our reach not only to Salalah but also Sohar, Nizwa & Duqum. The division has acquired distributorship for many products in the lighting and infotech space and has also increased by two more salesmen to promote our products.

New Products in LED Lighting: LED division has associated recently with “BAKALOVITS” & KNY Chandlers manufacturers from Austria to supply & Install chandlers into this market for all upcoming projects. Bakalowits Company was founded in Vienna, Austria in 1845.

We have signed a distributorship with “Aurora Lighting” manufacturers from UK to enlarge our sales in hospitality, Retail & Commercial building sectors.

Road Safety : We have added a speed radar product in road safety from Via Traffic Controlling manufacturer from Germany. An innovative

and radar-based information system for road traffic and road users. It

identifies a speed display equipped with modern radar technology that increases road safety.

Security Gates & Bollards: We have added up “BFT” from Italy in our product portfolio. BFT

manufactures systems for the management of car parks, road barriers, bollards and access control in city centres are some of the Bft products designed for the Urban Access Automation sector.

UVI SCAN: UVIScan® Under Vehicle Scanners will provide you with the perfect solution to scan, inspect, and digitally record the underside of vehicles. In today´s world, we are facing increased threat from terrorism, crime, theft and vandalism. We have to protect ourselves against these threats by increased security measures. The efficiency and quality of your security staff can be considerably enhanced by using modern technology.

We have added up many products such as Queue Management System, Customer Feedback Terminals.

From Director of MarketingThe second half of 2016 was a turbulent journey as some months we were busy with generating offer and the other part of the year being very low. It was extremely challenging for Marketing Division so far and I am proud to say the “TEAM” withered all these turbulence, competitions, manpower constraints, project hiccups to make 2016 the best year so far in the history of Al Ansari.

Initially, we were looking at sustaining the previous year’s (2015) sales figures as we had a mammoth growth of 32% that year but with the proactive approach and courage shown by every HOD and the team, allowed us to grow another 5% and retain the profit levels too. I would congratulate every team member of all the sub-departments, the support team members and of course the head of each department to make the vision of the division turn into reality.

The sales support from our other regions too sustained their levels which gave us an impetus to the growth. Congratulations ME Team too.

We have launched a new slogan “ENJOY WORKING” which is to make the working place an enjoyable destination every day. With the constant search for

manpower throughout the year to sustain our growth and to further grow in every area of our business and every region, we have managed to get to a remarkable level. Also every team member has been on the lookout for new products and am delighted to say that every team has added at least a couple of new product and have seen business growth with these products as well. In the same eye for growth, we are also looking at horizontal and have started evaluating business proposals with similar or allied activities.

I take this opportunity to thank all our suppliers with whose support we were able to achieve these growth levels. Their constant support in training and educating our team have made us to be most preferable supplier in OMAN by most contractors and clients. Undoubtedly, our esteemed clients and valuable customers are our backbone and we pray to almighty for their growth too.

Looking forward to a more challenging 2017.

Kitchen Equipment (Overseas)UAE: Al Inshirah was successful in securing Holiday Inn Dubai project in Dubai Festival City, an Al-Futtaim group property which we had won over several

other key contenders in the region.

KE UAE was able to successfully handover Zafran Indian restaurant in Mirdif City Centre-Dubai and Max’s Restaurant in Dalma Mall-Abu Dhabi, for the Landmark group.

KE UAE team attended the Rational-Germany Cooking Live event in Dubai where-in their new SelfCookingCenter and the SelfCookingCenter XS. Team also attended Frima-Switzerland event on pressurized cooking & MKN-Germany event on their Flexichef equipment, Viesmann-Germany training on industrial coldrooms.

Saudi Arabia: Plan A was successful in securing both Shaza Jabal Al Kaaba &

Millennium hotel in the Holy City of Makkah, Saudi Arabia.

KE KSA was able to successfully handover Zafran Indian restaurant in Rubeen Plaza mall in Riyadh, for the Landmark group.

Installations for kitchen & laundry equipment are progressing at Radisson Blu Hotel at Jeddah.

Qatar: GBS was able to successfully handover the Carluccio’s Italian restaurant in the prestigious

Mall Of Qatar. Being a fast-track project, we handed over the kitchen in December itself and restaurant is operational now.

in the Burj DAMAC Waterfront, luxury hotel apartment project in Lusail, Doha.

KE QA was able to cater to the requirement of industrial laundry machines for Galfar Qatar camps at Umm Salal Ali & Shahania.

Installations are progressing steadily within the target dates at Mandarin Oriental Qatar project (above), Phase-1, Phase-2 & laundry package, which we had bagged last year.

The team was able to handover the kitchen for Copper restaurant, Kitchen at Sohar refinery for ORPIC & Mercure Sohar.

Installations are progressing rapidly at Kempinsky Al Mouj Muscat, Duqm PAC for Renaissance group, BP Khazzan Block 61-KOB/KRC packages & Oman Convention Centre kitchen packages.

KE Oman were the Platinum Sponsor for the Food & Hospitality Oman exhibition which was held from 20th to 22nd September 2016 at Oman International Exhibition Centre, Muscat. We have participated in the exhibition along with our partner M/s Convotherm-Germany, which was well attended. Live cooking demonstrations were held during the exhibition by Mr. Hermann Karsten, Corporate Chef for the Manitowoc Group. We also sponsored the 7th Professional Chefs Competition event which was held along with the exhibition.

We got our custom made Glass Mosaics (4000 M2) product approved for Marriot Hotel Guest Bathrooms in Oman Conventional Centre and other Marazzi products for other areas.

requirements of the client. We got Desso Carpet & Carpet Tiles approved for Supreme Council Project, which would be a good reference considering the designs involved in it. We won Linoleum Flooring for Sharqiah University and also got our product approved for Salalah Airport. We have been awarded with ‘Emerging Star Performer 2016 Award’ by our principals Armstrong DLW Flooring, Germany. Kudos to the team!!!!!!.

Sports Flooring & Equipment

Following the success in Royal Oman Police Projects, we have become the favorite vendor for Ministry of Education. We have done two schools at Jiffnain and Sur. Further we have got approvals from the Ministry for nine more schools in various locations. This has been the result of excellent team work exhibited by the team and the presentations organized for the Ministry.

Wall Protection – We have won orders for Wall Protection Items for Sultan Qaboos University Hospital – Extension Block. We were closing working with the Galfar for our C/S Acrovyn Doors for the new ROP Hospital. We have done all the legwork required and awaiting approvals for the same. Have got C/S Entrance Matt approved for BP Khazzan Project.

Laticrete – We were successful in getting our products in for Kempinki Hotel, Oman Convention Centre, Salalah Free Zone, Dhofar Beach Resort, Dog Kennel and many projects from Royal Oman Police.

Sanitaryware – We were successful in bagging Shinas Mosque, Suwaiq Mosque, NEO Head Quarters, MOE Schools, Hisn ‘ Shumook and ROP projects. Product presentation were conducted for Design Unit, National Engineering Office and few other Architects for Hindware, Sanitana and Presto range of products.

Health & Leisure – We have won orders for Steam & Sauna for Wave Plaza Hotel, Dhofar Beach Resorts and Horizon Fitness at Azaiba & Darsait.

Fluid Engineering• PAEW is currently executing Water Transmission Project in Quriyat wherein for the first time in Oman DN 1400 Size Butterfly Valves are required for PN 63 (Nominal Pressure rating 63 Bar) rating.

The Contract was awarded to Elecnor Target JV and we bid for supply of above valves and other valves for this project. After many technical analysis, discussions, visits to various factories in Europe, finally client PAEW and Consultant chose our Erhard Valves from Germany. This was a wonderful achievement by our team !

• Salalah Sanitary & Drainage Company (SSDC) had awarded Contract to GPS to provide complete Solution for Odor Control System and Dosing System for their Network & Pumping Station.

A key project for this period was the Petrogas Office 365 migration project. This was a consolidation of email and documents between the Oman and Netherlands subsidiaries of Petrogas. IOTAP has successfully concluded this project as planned.

Another new customer of IOTAP has been Oman Investment Fund, for who we concluded the SharePoint & Correspondence Management project during this period.

IOTAP organized an event titled “Boost your Business Processes”, showcasing our capabilities towards automation of business processes. This event was jointly conducted by IOTAP and Nintex (our partners) on December 19th 2016 at the Crowne Plaza hotel.

IOTAP celebrated its Annual Day on July 27 2016. This was organized as a boating trip starting at the Marina Bandar followed by dinner and awards ceremony at the Blue Marlin restaurant. Majeeda Al Balushi won the “Employee of the Year” award and Siddharth Phatarphodwon the “Above & Beyond the Call of Duty” Award for his work on the SGRF modernization project.

We also went into a transition phase for the General Insurance Council to expand the Electronic Transaction Administration and Settlement System (ETASS) system that we built for them earlier, in order to make way for Phase 3 of ETASS.In the US, we deployed Cloud and Customer Relationship Management solutions for NJS and

provided CRM solutions to Landcare Logic.In the UK, we deepened our relationship with the Character Group by providing them with Enterprise Support, Hosting, and Development services. We also developed the CAT modelling software platform for James Brennan & Associates.

Apart from that, we have onboarded several SMB businesses for Office 365, helping them move to the Cloud.

Akartech General TradingCo LLC - Dubai

The second half of 2016 was a good period for ATGT. The steel price volatility was played to our advantage and we were able to maximize the returns from our inventory and future bookings. There have been new hires in the sales team and the sales team has increased in numbers. We are optimistic that the new blood will be able to increase our market share in UAE and add new products to our portfolio.

In terms of performance, this year was much better than the last, resulting with a fairly healthy bottom line.

Additionally, we have moved to a new bigger yard of 18,000 square meters in DIP 2 (right). This extra space will help in holding more inventory and increasing our turnover.

Looking forward into the future, 2017 will pose to be a dynamic year with challenges and changes in the local market.

Besides the forklifts, we also ventured into compressors in the heavy equipment section.

Sales of CAT 6 LAN cables, coaxial cables and other communication cables also improved in 2016. Welding inverters sales volume also went up.

Retaining our market territories in other products without degrading the quality and safeguarding our reputation was challenging.

We are fully optimistic to better our growth in 2017 on all fronts.

الطرق، و ال�شمعات وانظمة التحكم يف مراكز املدن وغريها من املنتجات امل�شممة ال�شتخدامها يف املناطق احل�شرية ويف القطاعات ذات التقنية العالية .

كان الن�شف الثاين من 2016 مبثابة فرتة ا�شطراب بالن�شبة الأعمالنا ، يف حني �شهدت بع�س ال�شهور حالة ان�شغال باحل�شول على بع�س العرو�س ، بينما

اجلزء االآخر من نف�س العام �شهد تراجعا وانخفا�شل ملحوظًا ، وكانت فرتة حتدي �شعبة بالن�شبة لق�شم الت�شويق بال�شركةٍ ويف كل االأحوال يطيب لنا اأن نفخر

بالقول باأن فريق الت�شويق بال�شركة بذل جهودًا م�شنية ملواجهة حتديات تلك الفرتة ال�شعبة مبديا قدرته الفائقة على مواجهة املناف�شة وال�شعاب االأخرى

املتعلقة بتوفري االيدي العاملة وغريها من ال�شعاب حتى متكن من جعل العام 2016 عامًا جيدا يف تاريخ �شركة االأن�شاري .

نقدم . كما املوافقات قيد امل�شاريع اأكرث من لعدد باال�شافة �شاطئ ظفار

واحلواجز الق�شبان مثل اأخرى وخدمات منتجات املجال هذا يف اي�شا

يف اعمالنا ان كما . الكثري وغريها الهوائية وال�شباك واالأقفال ال�شبكية

جمال ت�شخني املياه واعمال التدفئة والتهوية كانت جدية خالل العام حيث

متكنا من احل�شول على ح�شة �شوقية رائعة يف ال�شوق الرئي�شية لهذا القطاع

من خالل فوزنا بالعديد من امل�شروعات املرموقة يف ال�شلطنة .بالغاز يجري اال�شعال ونظام ال�شم�شية بالطاقة املياه ت�شخني نظام تركيب

العمل فيه ب�شكل جيد يف فندق �شحار بوالية �شحار .

BMT قسم تجارة مواد البناء SBU-2مع تذبذب اأ�شعار احلديد خالل الن�شف الثاين من ال�شنة، قد �شهدنا فرتة

�شعبة يف الربع الثالث من العام املا�شي 2016 ، وذلك مع انخفا�س االأ�شعار،

ف�شال عن انخفا�س الطلب على احلديد ال�شلب، غري اأن تلك الفرتة تبعتها

حالة انتعا�س طفيفة خالل الربع الرابع من نف�س العام

الطلب على احلديد يف لعدم وجود م�شاريع كربى جديدة، فقد ظل ونظرا

تراجع م�شتمر �شهر بعد �شهر مما اأثر على جميع الالعبني يف قطاع احلديد

وال�شلب ب�شكل �شلبي .و�شعيًا منا للتعوي�س عن انخفا�س الطلب على احلديد،

عززنا موقفنا عرب االهتمام بالتو�شع يف قطاع البيع بالتجزئة عرب ما نتمتع به

من �شبكة للمبيعات وذلك من اجل زيادة قاعدة العمالء لدينا . لذلك قمنا

بافتتاح املنفذ ال 11 للمبيعات يف نوفمرب 2016، وهو فرع جديد يف املعبيلة

.كما اننا عازمون على فتح املزيد من منافذ البيع خالل ال�شنة املقبلة اأي�شا،

وذلك لقناعتنا باأن ال�شبيل الوحيد للمحافظة على ح�شتنا يف ال�شوق يرتكز

على قدرتنا على ال�شمود يف وجه التحديات وال�شغوط الناجمة عنها ب�شبب

انخفا�س الطلب يف ال�شوق املحلية . ولكن يف املجمل ومنذ الن�شف االأول من

اأداوؤنا جيدًا حيث جنحنا يف حتقيق هدفنا يف اإجناز خطة 2016 كان عام

العمل امل�شتهدفة.

وقد قمنا بنقل خمتربنا ومكتب اال�شتقبال التابع لل�شركة اإىل مبنى ال�شركة

يف غال.. وقد مت افتتاح مكتب جديد بوا�شطة ال�شريك املدير العام الفا�شل/

2016 ، حيث �شادف ذلك يف نف�س اليوم يو�شف نالواال بتاريخ 20 نوفمرب

ال�شركة ومب�شاركة لل�شلطنة وذلك مبكاتب املجيد الوطني بالعيد احتفالنا

وا�شعة وفاعلة من كافة موظفي ال�شركة .

عمليات قطع وتني حديد الت�سليح :

يعترب الن�شف الثاين من عام 2016 عاما �شعبا بالن�شبة لعمليات قطع وثني

احلديد بال�شركة وذلك ب�شبب االنخفا�س ال�شديد للطلب على هذه العمليات

خ�شو�شا من جانب م�شروعات ال�شركات .

يف الكربى الطلبيات اوامر بع�س ،2016 عام من االأخري الربع يف تلقينا

الق�شم على حت�شني �شاعدت بدورها التي الكهربائي الطلي جمال عمليات

مبيعاته ، حيث �شهدنا يف هذا اجلانب منو يف العائدات بن�شبة 6٪ على اأ�شا�س

�شنوي ، ف�شال عن اننا نتوقع عمال جيدا يف هذا املجال يف عام 2017 .

ق�سم املقاوالت – املدنية : لقد مت االنتهاء بنجاح من جممع قوات املهام

نوفمرب 14 بتاريخ املن�شاأة بافتتاح العميل قام فيما ، ب�شاللة اخلا�شة

به يتميز ملا املجال بتقدير عايل من عمالئنا يف هذا 2016، حيثي نحظى

عملنا من جودة عالية وقدرة على اإجناز العمل وفق املوا�شفات املطلوبات ،

يف حني يعترب م�شروع جممع القوات اخلا�شة يف �شاللة اأحد اكرب امل�شروعات

وم�شاحة و العقد قيمة وذلك من حيث االأن�شاري اأجنزتها جمموعة التي

، وعمل على تنفيذه 33 �شهرا ا�شتغرق تنفيذ امل�شروع فرتة البناء ، حيث

نف�س امل�شروع عدد 81 من مقاويل الباطن مبا يف ذلك املقاولني املتعاقدين

، الكهربائي الكيبل ربط وخنادق ، املكثفات م�شاحة ، وجتهيز الكهربائي

وجتهيز اجل�شور الدارجة ، وذلك مع اتباع اأعلى معايري ال�شحة وال�شالمة

�شمد الكهربائية يف لل�شبكات املدنية االعمال اما . وبجودة عالية البيئية

ال�شان فمن املخطط انتهاء العمل فيها بتاريخ 2017/12/31 . وقد تبني لنا

للعمل ومن م�شتوى ترتيبنا ا�شلوب ادائنا اأبدى اعجابه من العميل قد ان

ملواقع العمل . وقد ا�شهم اأداوؤنا يف هذا امل�شروع يف تعزيز ثقة العميل فينا مما

اأهلنا للح�شول على االأعمال املدنية املتبقية يف حمطة �شبكات الدريز التي

اال�شت�شــــــاري اأبدى ، يف حني بالعمل فيها االيفاء ال�شابق يف املقاول ف�شل

�شبكة حمطة م�شروع يف عملنا بجودة واإعجابه تقديره ماكدونالد موت

الدريز .

جاري العمل ب�شكل كامل ومتميز يف كل من ت�شميم، و بناء، وت�شغيل و�شيانة حمطة معاجلة مياه ال�شرف ال�شحي بالعامرات، باال�شافة اإىل توا�شل اعمال

البناء يف حمطات ال�شخ واملعاجلة ملياه ال�شرف ال�شحي بامل�شروع .
