• THE GOLDEN RULE: Do not quote Wikipedia unless you’re writing about this significant wiki project and/or you want to compare its contents with those in a scholarly source such as a book or an article in an academic journal.
• Do not quote other encyclopedias or dictionaries either!
• Use Wikipedia as a spring board for further research

rather than just consume it (i.e. Web2.0 basics)
– understand how a wiki really works - collaboration + crowd-sourcing
– comprehend difference in viewpoints - subjective / objective
– learn to distinguish online sources - “reliable” / “less reliable” / “unreliable”
