It’s hard to believe, as I bring to market emerald august’s seventh col lection, that the inspiration for this line, my twin nieces, Margaret and Stel la, are completing their f irst year of kindergarten and have passed on many of my first dresses to their baby sister, Wil low! Nothingcould make me happier! Just as surely as children and parents wil l get ready for another school year, we wil l move from spring to summer and summer to fal l. I don’t believe, however, that just because the days get shorter and the wind grows a little crisper, that color should fade from your wardrobe. That is why our fal l 2015 col lection is ful l of bright colorful tones and patterns, coupled with warm cream that blend seamlessly between seasons and occasions. In the spirit of the changing season, we have created a layered col lection of varying weightsmeant to be mixed and matched your round. New items this season include our fabric knottednecklaces (page 6) that coordinate with al l of our dresses, tunic tops and printed leggings. Wehave also expanded the Vera Tunic Top (page 17 & baby page 33) to include a variety of colors, and for more casual occasions we have created the Missy Skirt (page 18) that pairs wel l with our Margaret Tees (page 18). For little boys we have added a beefy f lannel shirt (page 27 & baby page 38) to go over our new US inspired travel tees (page 28). As with each season, we close this one with thanks and graditude to our many clients, friends and family who inspire and help us grow. I am proud to design and sew al l of our clothingfor my family and yours with love in Atlanta, Georgia.
