Emergent Arabic Readers is the first in a set of workbooks and corresponding storybooks. The Emergent Arabic Readers  ‐ 

Color workbook focuses on teaching children how to read and write the some basic Arabic Colors.   This series  introduces  

beginning  readers  to essen al  skills  including  sound  symbol  rela onships, phonemic  awareness, and fluency.   Emergent 

Arabic Readers  also includes a corresponding comprehension series which reinforces early comprehension skills. The en re

The Emergent Arabic Readers Series are developed for homeschooling parents who wish 

to encourage teach their children to read and write Arabic more fluently. Nasrin Zoghbia 

first started developing  these workbooks as part of en re Islamic Homeschooling  

curriculum she created for her five year old son.
