We are at the crossroads of technological advancement

and operational excellence, where big data analytics,

supply chain analytics, automation, industry 4.0,

optimization, trade-o management, logistics excellence,

coordination, and supply chain relationships are the buzzwords.

In an increasingly connected world, the traditional function of

operations management has undergone a metamorphosis.

Operations management which was often considered a

horizontal function has now established itself as a vertical, with

multiple branches and varied ramifications.

Considering the aforesaid development, this conference aims to

understand how the change in perception of the operations field

from being considered as a horizontal function to an established

vertical, can lead to the creation of sustainable competitive

advantage. With this agenda, the Department of Operations and

Information Science Management, T A Pai Management Institute,

Manipal, India in collaboration with Montpellier Business School,

Montpellier, France is organizing the International Conference on

Emerging Trends in Operations and Analytics.

We invite original papers/case studies related to the conference

theme, from academicians, industry professionals, research

scholars, and independent consultants/professionals. The

interested participants are requested to submit an extended

abstract that addresses, but not restricted to, the areas indicated

alongside.

Nowadays, operations managers provide vital insights on how to

align the operations strategy to the overall organizational goals.

Also, business analysts and supply chain specialists are

delivering futuristic predictions about the impact of technology,

network design and quality norms on the operations of the firms.

Analytics is playing a key role in decision-making in

every f i eld, and operations management is no dierent.

The integration of analytics and operations has optimized the

processes to a great extent. The impact of analytics is seen in

services operations as well.
