Set on acres of beautifully landscaped grounds with walking trails, Emeritus at Champlin Shores is considered one of the premier senior living communities in Hennepin County. Located on the shores of Mill Pond and near Elm Creek Park Reserve, Champlin Shores is easily accessible from Highway 169. Our community offers 133 apartments on three floors and with a full range of services residents can remain here even if their health needs change.

Our common areas allow residents and their loved ones the opportunity to get to know one another. We also offer a wide range of activities each month, including off-site excursions to concerts and plays and restaurants. Emeritus at Champlin Shores is conveniently located in a residential area, near various shopping centers. Several medical facilities are also close by, including Mercy Hospital, Allina Clinic and a nursing home rehabilitation facility if ever needed.

To ensure we meet your needs, we use a state-of-the-art computerized assessment system, called the wE Care® Resident Evaluation Program. This helps us accurately evaluate and monitor assisted living services for each resi-dent. In addition, our Director of Resident Care will visit with you on a regular basis to personally discuss health-related issues and to monitor your progress.

• Alzheimer’s and Dementia care: Our community of-fers an innovative program, called Join Their Journey®, for residents with Alzheimer’s or memory disorders. The premise of the program is simple: we create specially designed memory care neighborhoods that provide a personalized, familiar and secure setting tailored to each resident’s unique needs. Within this environment, our highly trained staff joins residents in their moment, rather than trying to bring them into our reality. Through this approach, we recognize individuality, encourage choices and help residents maintain their dignity.

Friendship Suites Just right for many seniors Perhaps you’d love to live here, but you’re concerned about your budget. Or maybe you no longer want to live alone. Either way, we offer the perfect solution – friendship suites. Seniors are brought together to share an apartment and cost savings, while receiving the same outstanding services and amenities all residents enjoy.
