The very first week of May Emily got ill and ended up being admitted at a local hospital in Springfield with respiratory issues. After three days of hospitalization and several tests the doctors diagnosed her with severe asthma. We are currently following up with her Allergist and Pulmonologist to figure out what the necessary steps are for us to take to provide the necessary care she needs. Emily's Health Report Emily has been feeling a lot stronger lately. It has been almost two weeks since she spent a few days in the hospital. We are thankful that we can see some improvement. The tests results helped the doctors to diagnose her with Asthma. We are thankful that we were in Springfield and we were also able to reconnect with our sending church during this time. Pastor Don Baier MISSIONARIES 7 Months Ahead, step by step It is very humbling when we stop and think that we are heading to the Mission field because of our burden for the lost and the generosity of church members and ministries that are behind our family. Currently we are at 57% of our total support needed to be able to do ministry in Uruguay. Last week we received passports for Emily and the boys. Every step we make towards our move to South America makes our heart beat a little louder. We are excited and anxious. We dream, plan, consult with veteran missionaries and get more excited to know that Uruguayans will be saved through our ministry; God will get the glory and you will have a vital part in helping us reach that goal. WE ARE GRATEFUL We want to thank everyone who prayed, sent cards, flowers, brought us meals, contacted us or visited Emily while she was at the hospital. Our family felt your care and love. We pray that God will richly bless you. You can give towards our set up costs by going to www.alvarez2u.com Click on the online giving page.

Deputation: An Amazing Journey This last month we have been in the states of Texas, Kentucky and Missouri (where we will spending a good deal of our time the next three weeks).

It has been almost two weeks since she spent a few

days in the hospital. We are thankful that we can see some improvement. The tests results helped the doctors to diagnose her with Asthma.

We are thankful that we were in Springfield and we were also able to reconnect with our sending church during this time.

7 Months Ahead, step by step It is very humbling when we stop and think that we are heading to the Mission field because of

our burden for the lost and the generosity of church members and ministries that are behind our family.
