INVESTMENT PROPOSAL
Key benefits of the investments: • TKM Production Limited is an EIS Company with Advanced Assurance from HMRC. We
have submitted our latest Private Placement Memorandum to HMRC for SEIS Advanced Assurance on the 26th June 2014.
• SEIS investors could have as little as 13.5% exposure. This means an investor
investing £10,000 could potentially limit their exposure to 13.5% which would result in only £1350 being at risk.
• The film will potentially benefit from the Government’s tax rebate scheme which is structured to provide up to a 25% rebate on qualifying expenditure.
• Subject matter delivers real potential for worldwide box office appeal.
• The film industry has historically demonstrated resilience to economic downturns.
To illustrate what an investor can expect by investing £10,000 over a three year period we have laid out four scenarios:
SCENARIO 1
Should the film receive a low level of interest:
£10,500 Net Profit
Recoupment of investment + 7% = £10,700
SCENARIO 2
Should this film be moderately successful:
£84,000 Net Profit
Recoupment of investment + 56% = £15,600
SCENARIO 3
Should the film be successful:
£316,500 Net Profit
Recoupment of investment + 211% = £31,100
SCENARIO 4
Although Scenario 4 appears very high, it is based on data from films with a similar genre such as; Dark City, Before Sunrise, Broken Flowers, and The
Matrix. Taking our budget of 150k ($255k) into consideration we only need to get 5.24% of the same demographic to see the following profit:
£789,000 Net Profit
Recoupment of investment + 526% = £52,600
Scenario 4 is our target! This is what we are aiming for.
