Employee Mental Wellness Programme
Overview:
450 million people are suffering from some form of mental health
concerns – depression and anxiety being the most commonly reported.
Workplace stress is a new addition to this list and has been defined a
“global epidemic” by the International Labour Organization.
36% of Indian employees are battling one or the other form of mental health issues, and the pandemic has
brought with it a host of new concerns.
Challenges of remote working, lack of agility, difficulty in communication, diminishing work life balance
and guilt associated with it etc. have caused a dramatic rise in the mental health issues of our workforce.
Why employee mental wellness programme?
Evidence based research has shows
that implementation of Wellness
programs that specifically focus on
cognitive, emotional and psychological
problems has yielded many benefits
Fight Stigma!!!
Mental health awareness programmes helps in reducing the stigma associated with help-seeking, by encouraging employees to reach out to mental health professionals in confidence to seek therapy for their personal and professional issues.
