The part time is asplit shift position, with the following approximate hours: 7:30– 11:30am and 2:30pm – 6:30pm Monday and Friday andthe casual is to back fill for vacations and sick time coverage.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:• Transports clients within the Halton Region to and from their homes to the Seniors Day Program.
• Assists the Escort with transferring clients to and from the vehicle and their door.
• Conducts a safety circle check of the vehicle on a daily basis.
• Assisting in safely loading and unloadingwheelchairs and walkers on the bus.
QUALIFICATIONS:• Valid class “F” driver’s license.• Minimum 2 to 3 years experience driving a bus.• Ability to read maps and plan routes.• Good interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills.
