Lynch’s Renovation - Kenthurst
Project - Under Construction
The objective of Lynch’s project was to provide this lovely home with more living space to accommodate ever growing family and improve the amenity of the existing areas of the house. When this project concludes, it will offer this home bigger and better living areas, which includes internal and external spaces. Other existing spaces will get major improvement.
This project will not only provide the client with bigger home but will provide this home with better; ventilation, circulation, climate control and internal appearance. The clients are happy with the final design and very excited for the final product.
The renovation was a challenging project due the existing poor design. Issues of poor ventilation, natural light, climate control, etc were evident and required a large degree of problem solving. These problems could be very easily avoided with an efficient architectural knowledge and the objective of creating better living for others.

Parrett’s Renovation - Toongabbie
Project - Development Application in progress
The clients wanted to expand and renovate their new property in Toongabbie. This home will be changed from a three bedroom home to a four bedrooms with open plan living. Internal and external living area lay side by side with a seamless transition, which create better relationship between the two spaces.
I was allowed more flexibility in design process. The clients were unsure on what they wanted. The brief was to expand the house from three bedrooms to four bedrooms with limitation of costs. I believe I have successfully come up with the best balance between financial consideration and architecture. The clients are happy with the design and will be lodging the application very soon.

Project - On Hold
I was asked to design a builder a renovation for his house in Glenhaven. This building is currently housing a couple and their young kids. The family is getting ready to extend the home to accommodate the growth of their children.
This brief was to extend the building vertically. The top storey will be use as a sleeping quarter with a large games room integrated on top of the garage. On ground level is to become an open plan living with a spare bedroom and office at the front of the building.
This project was given with a number of restrictions and limitations. It was a good challenge, and allow me to work closely with the owner and get to know them, which helps very much in the design result and process.
This project is currently on hold. The clients is considering on the relocation to a larger home. The project will go ahead if the clients decide not to move.

Academic works
Cinematheque - North Everleigh Precinct
North Eveleigh Precinct’s site has been divided into two parts. Carriage Works is a working hub for practitioners and audiences of the small to medium arts sector which occupying a part of the site. The other part of the site is currently being abandoned. The site has a lot of potential and situated in one of the best locations in Sydney.
There is a missing connection that needed to be filled. A piece of puzzle needed to turn this piece of abandoned site into festive hotspot. CINEMATHEQUE is the perfect contender for this site, this location and the existing art community in that area. This project will not only reinforce the existing art community, it will make the site more welcoming for the visitors by providing more area that can host bigger and better shows and exhibitions.
Cinematheque will become one of many landmarks in the city of Sydney. It will become a social ground where people come together and celebrate. This is where the art comes alive and people sit back and enjoy the show. The Cinematheque building will be sculptured with the influence of the surrounding and its community.

Scout Hall - Hunters Hills
Our objection for this project is to find an existing scout hall in Sydney and design a brand new multi purpose facility to be use as a sport facility and a camping ground for scout members.
The site is located on Durham St, Hunters Hill, approximately 6km north west of Sydney CBD. There is an existing scout hall on the site which is a typical weatherboard 1970’s hall construction responding little to the local context. The street is a cul-de-sac which experiences little traffic, mainly providing pedestrian and bicycle thoroughfare to adjacent streets.
This building aimed to achieved the highest degree of environmental sustainability by taking location, orientation, physical surrounding to account.
