On May 13, 2018, overseas pastors who had received much grace from Dr. Jaerock Lee’s powerful ministry and books visited the church.

They said they were blessed very much by watching Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee’s India United Crusade 2002 on YouTube and the DVD titled “Power” and through reading his books. Afterwards, they became fervent in heart and visited the central church with

longing. After they attended Sunday Morning Service, they paid a visit to Muan Sweet Water Aquarium where seawater fi sh and freshwater fi sh coexist.

Pastor Merryston David Scanny from India said, “The India United Crusade led by Dr. Jaerock Lee was the biggest crusade ever with by far the most people in attendance in all of India’s Christian history. Amazing powerful works occurred that served as an opportunity for revival of the Christian churches in India.”

Pastor Prabu Balagopal from Australia stated, “The most impressive part of Dr. Jaerock Lee’s ministry was his powerful works and the strong works of the Holy Spirit. I received much grace from today’s sermon and choir’s anthem.”

They wanted to continually work together with Manmin to deliver the church’s holiness gospel with signs, wonders, and powerful works.

“Our Love and Thanks in the Lord”Children’s Sunday Service and Parents’ Sunday Event 2018

Manmin Central Church’s Charity Association supports education with scholarships awarded to elementary, middle, and high school students every quarter and college students every semester. On May 6, 2018, the second quarter ceremony was held

for 10 elementary school students, 25 middle school students, and 21 high school students who needed financial support. The church helps them so that they can lead their believing lives properly and focus on their studies.

From May 10 to 13, 2018 , Chennai Manmin Church had Su m mer Bible School 2018. Pastor Joseph Han preached the messages on the measure of faith, the heavenly dwelling places, and the spiritual world under the main theme “Invitation to Heaven”. It was a blessed time for children to increase their love and faith in God and hope for heaven.

As the Lord says in John 13:34, “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another,” Manmin Central Church practiced the love in a special way in May, the month of family, by holding Children’s Sunday Service and Parents’ Day Events.

At 1:30 p.m. on May 6, 2018, Children’s Sunday School had Children’s Sunday Service in the second sanctuary, and it was broadcast live worldwide by GCN. Sister Yunjung Yim, fifth grader, presided over the service, Sister Saeeun Jeon, fifth grader, gave representative prayer, and Sister Sarang Shim, sixth grader, read the Scripture. Manmin Children Choir offered up special praise.

Rev. Dr. Soojin Lee, President of the Pastors’ Association, delivered the message titled “We Are the Fruit of the Father” based on John 15:5. To become the source of joy to God and reach the most beautiful heaven in New Jerusalem, she urged attendees to break old habits such as anger, hatred, and lying; to put on new self that loves, forgives, rejoices and offers praise.

On May 13, af ter Sunday Mor ning Ser vice, Senior Deaconesses’ Association held an event for the elderly members over 70. Rev. Dr. Heesun Lee, Guidance Pastor of Men’s and Women’s Missions delivered the message and urged them to have a fervent heart for the Lord like the prophet Anna, regardless of their ages. She also urged them to live for the kingdom and righteousness of God in prayer and fasting.

After the message, the Power Chorus of the Performing Arts Committee demonstrated a Taekwondo dance routine and worship dance with the Dream Band. They also danced with the elderly members to praises that give hope for heaven. They were all happy with the event. Senior Deaconess Ssanggeum Kim, age 72, said, “I felt happy as if I was in heaven. I give thanks to the church for holding Parents’ Day events every year and giving us joy and happiness.” After the event, delicious rice cake and drinks were served to them.

2 The Word of Life

The God of love placed all pastors, missionaries, elders, senior deaconesses, teachers, choir members, and other members “for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ,” just as recorded in Ephesians 4:12. And, when these members are united, the body of Christ can stand straight and upright.

Manmin’s members have been united since the start in 1982. Consequently, this church has been able to give great glory to God. I will now explain to you what has made it possible for Manmin to be united.

Firstly, it is because Manmin has followed the teaching and guidance of the true Shepherd, the LORD our God.

Psalm 23:1-2 says, “The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside quiet waters.” Manmin has followed the word of God, our Shepherd, and that is what has allowed Manmin to be united. Manmin has followed the word of the good Lord who sacrifi ced His life for the sheep, and it has made it possible for Manmin to be united.

During the preparation for my ministry before I started this church, I offered up countless prayers and fastings to receive God’s explanation of the Bible. I was desperate to know what God truly desires of us through the Bible. When I had piled up 7 years of prayers, I started receiving the answers. The Lord began to explain the Bible to me among which was the compilation of ‘The Message of the Cross.’

This message contains the God’s ultimate reason for the creation of human beings. That is, God created human beings and began human cultivation in order to acquire true children He could share love with forever. This message also explains the passion of Jesus who is the Son of God for the providence of salvation through the cross and the principles of the spiritual growth of those who are born again of water and the Spirit.

Based on this, God explained the f ive levels of spiritual growth. These messages on spiritual growth are now the compilation of messages found in “Measure of Faith” (Romans 12:3). This message explains in great detail the processes of spiritual

growth from the 1st level, which is the faith of being bor n aga i n by the Holy Spirit, to the 5th level, which is the highest level of faith that pleases God. From this message, you can find that your eternal dwelling place in Heaven that is decided by an individual’s measure of faith achieved while on this earth.

The contents of these messages can provide a clear goal for your life. You can set up a goal of casting off all evil from your heart and accomplishing the level of faith that is reaching the fullness of Christ while on this earth (Ephesians 4:13). In other words, you can

ear nest ly want to become a true ch i ld that God truly desires. You can learn to be loved by God in this life and will hope to stay close with God in the life to come.

You may f ind that those who f o l l o w t h e s e t e a c h i n g s a r e one as ‘Manmin’ r e g a r d l e s s o f t h e i r a g e , s e x , r a c e , o r

nationality. This holiness gospel that I received from God and preach has been broadcast all over the world by GCN that covers approximately 170 countries. Countless people have watched and heard the messages, received grace, and have come to have the same hope as that of our members. In every corner of the world, people set ‘sanctifi cation’ as the highest value and goal in their lives and are fulfilling this goal.

Recently, a Manmin branch church was set up in Moldova, Eastern Europe. A brother listened to the holiness gospel on YouTube and TBN Russia. He was greatly touched by the sermon ‘Hell’ and he began to share the grace with people around him. The number of people was added to continually, and they eventually had to find a place for a sanctuary and began to worship together in April 2014. Though there was no missionary dispatched to them, they began the church on their own just by listening to the messages of this church.

Not only Moldova, but we have many other Manmin families who join our worship services via the Internet all around the world. Since they became united with us, their wish is the same as our members in the central church. That is, they wish to be able to quickly grow up in faith to be qualified to enter New Jerusalem. As you can see, those who have been united in the teachings of God will bear truly full and abundant fruits.

We Are United in the Lord

Secondly, it’s because Manmin has put on love that is the perfect bond of unity.

Romans 5:8 says, “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” To save sinners, God allowed His only begotten Son, Jesus, to be the propitiation for our sin. Whoever believes in the redemption in the cross of the Lord can be forgiven and become a child of God. Therefore, Christians all over the world can call God ‘Father’, and hence, they become brothers and sisters bound by the blood of the Lord.

Before I met God, I suffered from many diseases for seven years. But I was healed of all my diseases by meeting God. When I was healed and began my Christian life, I was so glad whenever I saw someone on the street who had a Bible in hand. I was also so touched by the cross on the rooftop of a church building. It was the grace that the Lord gave me.

Those who received this great unrepayable love from the Lord can become one in the love of the Lord. It is love that can unite all the hearts of people with different thoughts, different pe r sonal i t ie s , and d i f fe rent backg rou nds . Colossians 3:14 says, “Beyond all these things put on love, which is the perfect bond of unity.” It is love that can unite the hearts of people. Just as the love of the Lord who sacrifi ced His life for sinners has bound souls in unity, the love that can sacrifi ce all things for the souls was needed for Manmin to be united.

From the moment I met God, I have loved God foremost of all, and I have loved souls following the desire of God. To have one more soul saved, to help one more soul reach New Jerusalem, I have devoted everything I have without sparing anything. I have helped the poor and the mission work. Not on ly mater ial ly, but also in the investment of time, I have spent it all for the work of God and for the souls. I have never thought to myself, “I’ve done enough. It’s OK to rest.”

Since 2010, to f ill up the justice for souls’ salvation and change, I have paid the price like giving in my life. As its result, I lost all the strength from my entire body, and all my body

parts became weak. As my vitality was drained away from my marrow, there were moments I could not even stand up. Countless nights, I could not sleep even when I wanted to.

Yet, what I was more pressed by was concern over whether our members are deceived into committing sin or whether they lost heart in thinking that it is too hard to become sanctified. That is why I wanted to reveal the spiritual realm all the more clearly, and to increase their faith by manifesting signs and wonders with even greater power.

As Jesus said in John 4:48, “Unless you people see signs and wonders, you simply will not believe,” I have tried to show them the spiritual realm as if they saw it and touched it. Now, many church members understand the love contained in the power and they run earnestly to achieve the heart of the Lord with hope for heaven. I am so thankful for that.

Thirdly, Manmin has always sought after the glory of God.

For the glory of God, Jesus manifested countless signs and wonders. He made the blind see, the mute speak, the crippled be restored, and the lame walk. Those who witnessed the Lord’s ministry all glorifi ed God. As Jesus unfolded the power of God the Almighty on this earth, He let God receive all the glory. After He revived Lazarus who had been dead for four days, He said it was “...for the glory of God, so that the Son of God may be glorifi ed by it...” (John 11:4).

Since Jesus glorified God, people of that time knew that Jesus belongs to God. The man who was born blind but later able to see after meeting Jesus said in John 9:32-33, “Since the beginning of time it has never been heard that anyone opened the eyes of a person born blind. If this man were not from God, He could do nothing.”

Just as Psalm 62:11 says, “...power belongs to God,” if someone manifests such power, he belongs to God. Furthermore, the one who manifests the power of God does not glorify oneself, but glorifi es God, so it proves that the one belongs to God. I earnestly prayed to receive the power of God

because I wanted to achieve the good will of God who desires all men to be saved.

And to complete the power of re-creation, which is the highest level of power, I have been under the harsh training which is hard for an ordinary man to bear. Consequently, however, not only healing of various diseases, but also countless wonders have been manifested.

Specially in Summer Retreat 2017, God made me pray for those demon-possessed to become normal, and the works of demon-possessed people being set free took place. The power of changing the weather is being manifested much more quickly.

Right before the retreat, the typhoon ‘Noru’ was moving toward Korea. The forecast said that it would affect Korea beginning August 7, which was the first day of the retreat. On August 3, I prayed that the typhoon would disappear or change its course. Then, the typhoon changed its course toward the east. The venue of the retreat was no longer to be affected by the typhoon. I prayed once more at the request of a member who is running a ferry line service from Pohang and Ulleung-do, and then the typhoon moved 100 kilometers farther east of the forecasted course. The entire East Sea was out of the typhoon’s influence. I then prayed for those who were about to f ly from Japan to attend the retreat, and then the typhoon decreased in intensity. As a result, the members from Japan could safely arrive and enjoy the summer retreat.

Since 2016 in particular, God has allowed me to adjust the temperature by power so that Manmin could enjoy a pleasant Summer Retreat at the temperature of 25-26 in Celsius in August which is the hottest month of the year. Through the spiritual space, God sent dragonfl ies; they sat on our bodies to give us another summer of beautiful memories. That is why so many people from the world wish to attend Manmin Summer Retreat. They want to witness the glory of God with their own eyes. And, it brings Manmin together as one all the more.

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, Jesus said in John 14:12, “Truly, truly, I say to

you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I go to the Father.” Those who can truly believe in this by faith can manifest signs and wonders just as Jesus did, and they can do even greater works.

Jesus said in His prayer, “The glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one, just as We are one,” as written in John 17:22. Just as the Lord and God are one, He wants all of us who believe in Him to become one with God and the Lord.

I pray in the name of the Lord that all of you – pastors, workers, and all members – will become one in the Lord and the fruit of the answer to the Lord’s earnest prayer.

Though I attended church I was still skeptical about everything because I had so many questions concerning faith. I had such questions as “What do the biblical works of God imply for us who are living in modern society? W hy do we have to go to chu rch on Sundays? Why is Jesus our only Savior?” I was not able to get answers anywhere.

So, I just habitually went to church. It was just par t of my life. I was a

member of a praise team in the church, but I sang on the team just because I like to sing. The only thing I really liked was meeting my friends in the church. I even went to the coffee shop and chatted with my praise team members during the sermon. I didn’t properly keep the Lord’s Day and did not give the tithe. I went to other churches wondering if there would be anything different. I looked up other famous pastors’ sermons online and listened to them, but they were no different and I still wasn’t able to fi nd the answers to my questions.

In February 2015, I had a severe stomachache and went to hospital. It was ovarian cyst and I was told to have surgery to remove it. I talked about it to an acquaintance who attends Moldova Manmin Church. She sent a prayer request to Manmin Central Church in Korea for me. My surgery was planned for the following day and I had the surgery. A miracle happened after the surgery. My doctor had clearly told me that my ovarian function would not be fully recovered since the cyst was very big. But after the surgery, I recovered very quickly and the function was back to being perfectly normal. Hallelujah!

After this experience, I went to Moldova Manmin Church. On the fi rst day I went to the church, I felt something new and special that I had never experienced before. In Daniel Prayer Meeting, I felt like fresh air passed through my heart. It was my fi rst time to fi nd it that exciting and happy to pray to God. Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee’s messages gave me much grace. I could understand them clearly, and the many questions that had troubled me for so long were all resolved.

In June 2015, I registered as a member of Manmin. I started to change according to what I realized through Senior Pastor’s messages. I came to understand why I should go to church and lead my believing life. My life goal became specifi c and I came to have hope for heaven. I started to keep the Lord’s Day and give the tithe.

In early 2017, I was blessed to renew my heart all the more. I suffered from a high fever and it went up to 38 degrees Celsius (100.4 F). I shivered with fever. My face and throat were swollen, and my eyes were bloodshot. I had had an allergic reaction. I was reminded that diseases come from sin (Exodus 15:26) and prayed to fi nd my sin and repented. I also received Senior Pastor’s prayer for the sick and drank Muan Sweet Water (Exodus 15:25). Not long afterwards, all the symptoms were gone. Hallelujah!

I give all thanks and glory to God who has guided me to true rest. I also extend my thanks to Senior Pastor who renewed me with the word of life.

I had pain in both of my knees for a long time. In 2003, the pain became even worse, so I had them checked in the hospital. The test result showed that the cartilage of my knees had broken down. The doctor told me that without artifi cial joint replacements I would not be able to walk.

I had seen many people bei ng healed of their diseases by the prayer of Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee who manifests powerful works of God. I

also wanted to receive healing by the power of God.After a five-minute walk, I felt pain in my knees and had to stop

walking and rest. At night, I couldn’t sleep well due to pain. My knees were swollen after I did something. When I got up in the morning, they creaked, and I couldn’t straighten them up. I had to massage them to get up. Never theless, the pain subsided when I rece ived D r. Lee’s prayer for the sick. That was how I endured my pain.

I n e a r l y M a r c h 2018, I did something t h a t t u r n e d o u t t o b e ve r y h a rd on my b o d y. A f t e r w a r d s , i nexpressibly seve re pain hit my body. I could not take a single step, so I had to remain lying on the bed and went to the restroom by wheelchair.

My unbelieving family members took me to hospital. But I just heard from the doctors that they could not guarantee a good result. On March 24, I felt a strong urge that I would be healed if I met Senior Pastor.

I asked my children to take me to a meeting of the church members with Senior Pastor held on Sunday morning on

March 25. I was moved to the sanctuary by wheelchair and on my son’s back on the stairs. My heart became hot and I said to them I wanted to go to the seat in front.

A f t e r S e n io r Pa s t o r f i n i s h e d h i s message, he prayed for the sick from

the altar. Then, the knee pain was s u d d e n l y g o n e a n d m y w h o l e body fel t ref reshed . I s tood up immediately. My family and I were all surprised! After Sunday Evening Service, Senior Pastor prayed for me with his hands on me, and my legs were strengthened and I got up right away and walked!

From my mouth, the praise song, “Stand up, walk! I will give you new strength!” came out constantly. I came to walk freely afterwards and sleep well at night. I felt so thankful. I give all thanks and glory to God and

extend my heartfelt thanks to Senior Pastor.
