The transformation of our world is part of an evolutionary process of stability alternating with instability and bifurcation. In the biological world bifurcations in the evolution of a species lead either to the extinction of that species or to a successful genetic mutation that may ultimately issue in a new species. In society bifurcations are cultural and not genetic. They are sociocultural “chaos points” that lead either to the breakdown of the given society or to its breakthrough to a more adapted mold — ultimately to a new civilization. Ervin Laszlo will highlight the nature of bifurcation in complex evolving systems, and then elucidate the problems and the possibilities associated with humanity’s “Worldshift” toward a new civilization.

Our capacity and our intention for creating a favourable environment and developing one’s full potential of awareness are the foundation for initiating a road to transformation. One key to initiate such a process is our talent to influence the connectivity of our brain and the creation of auspicious conditioning to modify one’s own environment.

• You will learn how to comprehend and use accessibility to your brain, thus offering new awareness for the future perceptions of others. • You will understand the importance of stabilizing mental attention and using all five senses to emphasize presence, develop true perception of the moment and trigger appropriate circumstances. • Let us explore the use of your metabolic and neurological resources towards a creative adventure and receive the next moment of the emerging future.

Angie Hiesl et Roland Kaiser Artistes Exploring visions of the future…the artist's ability to see reality from a different perspective! Angie Hiesl stands for interdisciplinary projects transforming temporary everyday spaces into art spaces. Her performance installations are sensory provocations in the border area between performance and fine art, with a special focus on urban public space. Her work invites audiences and passers-by to view what was once thought to be familiar in a new way. Angie Hiesl has won numerous awards in theatre and art since the early 1980s and since 1997 she creates her works in collaboration with the German artist Roland Kaiser. The creative void, an infallible resource …with Denis Marquet, philosopher, novelist and therapist The only knowledge is of the past, or of that which repeats itself. To know is thus to gamble on the repetitiveness of events. It excludes novelty, and implies that creation is impossible. When faced with a "problem", the need is not to find a solution; the need is for something new. To discover a collective response to the crisis of the end of modern times, or to help an individual overcome his personal or professional difficulties, we must give up any pretence of knowing, all our knowledge and know-how and certitudes, in order to enter the creative void. Thus we create a space for something new and unexpected; we open up resources inaccessible through knowledge or techniques. Together we shall explore this space where, having abandoned all attempts to find a solution, we discover that the problems have disappeared. We shall look at the ways of anchoring ourselves in this untouched domain whence flows our spontaneous creativity. Warren Lamb, Movement as a common denominator of co-creative initiatives Warren Lamb will show how the way we move can be understood so as to enhance our connectedness and develop our potential for meaningful communication. It is not Body Language. We will explore our individual movement pattern and its potential for real change. Discovering the trend of change is one aspect. In aiming for transformation we experience movement in the body as a whole, not just gestures. A related opportunity will be to differentiate between harmony and discord within group activity in terms of movement. The rhythms which promote or impede co-creation will be demonstrated and discussed leading to increased understanding how to harness collective intelligence. The outcome will be enhanced kinesthetic sense which will help us better perceive and influence the trend of change as we advance towards the future. The Big Bang and after: Man's place in the Universe with Trinh Xuan Thuan, Astrophysicist, Professor of Astronomy at the University of Virginia (USA) Ever since 1543, when Copernicus dislodged the Earth from its central place in the Universe, modern astronomical discoveries have not ceased to shrink man's place in the universe ever more, both in space and time. This has led to the disenchantment of the world, expressed by the famous cry of anguish of the French philosopher Blaise Pascal in the XVII century: "The eternal silence of infinite space terrifies me." I will show how this bleak view has been changed by modern cosmology which has reenchanted the world. I will discuss how science has rediscovered the ancient alliance between man and the cosmos: we are interconnected with the universe because we are all children of stars. The universe has been finely tuned since its very beginning to permit the appearance of life and consciousness: if the universe is vast, it is because this vastness is required for the appearance of an observer able to comprehend the beauty, harmony and complexity of the universe, and give it meaning. 1:00-2:15 pm Lunch

8:45-9:00 am Opening session by Sophie Terrasse and Michel Montreuil 9:00 am - 6:00 pm “A New Beginning” – Open-space with Isabella Klien and Andreas Terhoeven « In our role as facilitators of day three ‘A New Beginning’ we will open the space for your personal and collective wisdom to emerge. We trust that all the wisdom needed to pave the road for the future of your work as coaches is in the room. The methodology chosen - Open Space Technology - assists you in acting from your potential for joy, creativity and productivity. Passion and responsibility are the two keys to success: the process acknowledges your leadership and increases your personal empowerment. And it helps you to achieve tangible collective breakthroughs. We love to work with Open Space Technology and are very much looking forward to experience it with the participants of the ICF ECC Paris 2010. »Isabella Klien and Andreas Terhoeven What is an Open Space Technology meeting? Open Space Technology (OST) is a meeting methodology involving from seven to more than thousand people, that produces results, achieves maximum participation and "buy-in" during the meeting and later implementation, unleashes unlimited creativity and inspires people in finding the best solutions to their challenges. "Open Space Technology" is the name given to a meeting without a predetermined agenda. Developed in the late eighties by Harrison Owen of Maryland, U.S.A., this meeting methodology is now used around the world as an effective process for facilitating change in large group settings. OST meetings enable the building of energy and participation in ways that few other processes do. They create the conditions for interactive processes that allow creativity to surface naturally. It is best used when there is an important issue to be addressed, when there is a diversity of people involved and when there is complexity to deal with. Experience it and be surprised how it works! 6:00 - 6 :30 pm Plenary Session with Myriam Maestroni Chief Executive Officer Of Primagaz “Modernagement” / Management in modern age: reconciliation time 2000-2010 will definitely be seen as a transition period between the old industrial world and a new modern world built on more intangible issues and approaches. The change of paradigm is creating paradoxes and dilemmas; leaders will need to find the proper ways to reconcile these dilemmas… to start with a first step: get emotional intelligence at work in companies. By itself this is already a challenge, most complex and exciting: reconciling reason and emotions addressing simultaneously the mind and the heart. As a consequence the next move will be about maximizing all our resources in order to “make money with happy people changing a little bit the world”.
