Orbit Obliques
Manage, View, Measure, share
Orbit’s Obliques portfolio is without doubt the most complete on the market. Orbit Obliques supports all camera and captation systems which makes it vendor neutral, a required new and open approach to the use of oblique data.
Oblique Imagery can add dramatic insight in emergency situations, contingency planning, urban planning, 3D city modelling and add value to a hure amount of governmental tasks and a wide range of businesses.
Combine and optimize oblique imagery with orthophoto and DEM, for easy management and central storage of data. View and measure in desktop, client-server and internet solutions.
Great with all imaGery
Simply Import
Orbit Obliques comes with a simple procedure to import the documented raw data into Orbit Oblique Projects. You can optionally add a DEM and an orthophoto (advised). After that, you simply open a project and you’re ready to go.
Orbit Obliques DesktOp
Based on Orbit’s extensive photogrammetry, CRS, GIS, imagery and lidar engine, Orbit Obliques Desktop comes with everything you need.
Settings and Preferences
Use the intuitive sidebar to setup your screen as pleased. Divide your screen into parts to view all 4 oblique images at once. Adjust placement of windows and North, East, South and West views to your preference.
Measurements
Measurements can be made using a DEM or triangulation. Single-click measurements require a DEM. The DEM is a part of your Obliques Project and a non-mandatory step of the import procedure.
”“INTEGRATED ACCESS
Manage and share your Oblique imagery for optimal use throughout your organization.
With the Measurements HUD, tools to measure coordinates, distances, heights, areas and volumes are just one click away.
Overlay
Orbit Obliques comes with a very strong support of GIS data. Drag and drop your vector data file and you can immediately overlay it in any of the oblique views. Straight forward and very dynamic.
To have a perfect match, you either need vector data in 3D, or 2D data with DTM - given that the 2D vectordata is draped over the dtm on-the-fly. The Vector Overlay HUD gives supplementary control over height adjustment for 2D data.
Obliques COrpOrate wiDe
Orbit Obliques is available in a desktop and client-server setups, allowing to centralize the volumes of data, while still offering the same usability to every desktop.
In client-server, the centrally stored obliques, with orthophoto and DEM, can now be shared with all users within the organization without any effort. Use the Orbit server’s standard capabilities for advanced settings of user permissions to define user’s access to data and tools. Every user login is associated with a workspace containing both obliques setup as standard GIS data and basemaps.
Orbit Obliques seamlessly integrates with any other product of the Orbit portfolio like Mobile Mapping, UAS Mapping, Photogrammetry and many more.
Orbit Obliques publisher
Publish your Obliques project together with ortho or other reference basemap using the Orbit Obliques Publisher. Re-use the same content to share among remote users via the web or to users of embedded viewers.
The Orbit Obliques Publisher combines oblique imagery with any other GIS content in a Publication. Access to publications are constrained by login and permission settings. All use of the data can be logged.
Embed using the SDK
An Obliques Publication can be shared over the internet in just a few clicks. Using the SDK, the same publication can be embedded in any host or customer’s website. The SDK is available for Flex, JavaScript and dotNet.
View, Overlay and Measure
A Publication can be combined with host vector data to overlay its position on the oblique image. Similar measurements can be done and copied on the clipboard for further use or converted to new features in the host system.
