I would like to introduce myself; I am a being on a journey of love, joy and peace. I am in the lifelong process of creating my best life. At times, it is lovely and easy at other times, it is challenging and hard; but these elements, my iends, are what compose life and the experience of living. Let’s embrace our life and take this journey of self discovery together. What we give to each other, we give to ourselves. is is a space to share and learn together, so drop me a line and let’s GROW! Dear Luna: I feel like sometimes I do everything wrong, like I can’t please EVERYONE in my life. I feel like what I say or do is wrong and I’m constantly trying to catch up with myself and everybody around me. It’s very exhausting and I would like to stop, but I can’t. Please help me understand how to feel good about myself. As I sit in silence and drink my coffee at a table full of books, I begin to think about the common thread that runs in the fabric of all of our lives. I believe there are many, but one stands out to me this morning, and that is our need to be what everyone else wants or even expects us to be. is is a tricky concept because it is good for all of us to have great expectations of each other, right? But in the walls of those expectations, who we are, our Self, gets lost. If we are not careful we can spend a big part of our lives fulfilling everyone else’s expectations of us and we forget to live out who we are. So then this brings me to a very important, yet scary question for a lot of us “Who am I?”. In order to answer this, first we must answer what we are not: we are not our past experiences, we are not our education, we are not our name, we are not who everyone in our life wants us to be, we are not our weight, we are not the color of our skin, we are not our neighborhood, we are not our bank account and we are not our job position. is is hard and frightening to hear because if we are not any of these things, then who are we? To get to the truth of that, all our labels must come off the way we leave a jacket at the door before we get comfortable; we must leave our labels at the door. is act is a coura- geous one, my dear friends, because it opens up a whole new world for us, a world that could be recreated. Without all those labels, we are free and without restriction or limitation. We become creative. We are now able to truly love and accept ourselves as the divine beings that we are and we accept that just being who we are is enough. Remember: We are not human doers, we are human beings. I am looking forward to reading your thoughts, opinions or questions. In this safe space, know that you are wel- come to talk and share about any concerns or issues that life brings. Together we can learn from each other and help each other understand our divine truth. You can e-mail me at [email protected]. “Let your light shine bright in the darkness of the night” 41

Hello readers!

As I sit in silence and drink my co ee at a table full of books, I begin to think about the common thread that runs in the fabric of all of our lives. I believe there are many, but one stands out to me this morning, and that is our need to be what everyone else wants or even expects us to be. is is a tricky concept because it is good for all of us to have great expectations of each other, right? But in the walls of those expectations, who we are, our Self, gets lost. If we are not careful we can spend a big part of our lives ful lling everyone else’s expectations of us and we forget to live out who we are. So then this brings me to a very important, yet scary question for a lot of us “Who am I?”. In order to answer this, rst we must answer what we are not: we are not our past experiences, we are not our education, we are not our name, we are not who everyone in our life wants us to be, we are not our weight, we are not the color of our skin, we are not our neighborhood, we are not our bank account and we are not our job position. is is hard and frightening to hear because if we are not any of these things, then who are we? To get to the truth of that, all our labels must come o the way we leave a jacket at the door before we get comfortable; we must leave our labels at the door. is act is a coura-geous one, my dear friends, because it opens up a whole new world for us, a world that could be recreated.

In this safe space, know that you are wel-come to talk and share about any concerns or issues that life brings.
