LABOR CATEGORIES The labor categories for facilities management, facilities maintenance, and engineering consulting are provided. They indicate the labor classification or category; the qualification requirements; degree, license or certification requirements; and the minimum experience requirements. These minimum requirements are guidelines for the positions listed with hourly wages.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Project Manager (Senior, Assistant designation dependent upon level of Degree/Certification and Experience required by SOW)
Have demonstrated through previous employment history the ability to independently manage activities with equal or greater responsibilities than those anticipated for this contract. High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
BS in Engineering or Business preferred. RPA, FMA, CPMM or CPM designation preferred.
Five years of recent (within the last 7 years) experience in managing personnel responsible for the O&M of building, equipment and systems in a similar commercial or public facility.
Administrative Assistant RWA Clerk Data Clerk Order Clerk II Receptionist Above grade selection depends on training and experience required by SOW SCA/Skilled
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED). Demonstrated ability to operate common office machines such as computer, copier, facsimile machine, printer, etc. Be able to interact with customers in person, via email, or on the telephone in a courteous and efficient manager.
Extra training certificates in accounting, computer software, and management preferred
Two years’ experience in general office work including correspondence, filing and operations of common office machines. Elementary financial and management analysis. Reviews purchase requests, tracks purchase orders, keeps property records. One-year experience using a commercial CMMS software package (such as MAXIMO) preferred.
Construction Manager (CM) Estimator Above positions dependent on training and experience required by SOW
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED). Have additional technical education through an accredited technical school. Experience supervising multiple contractors (CM only)
BS in Construction Management or Engineering preferred.
Three years as an estimator for mechanical, electrical or structural systems. Strong experience with Windows, MS Office and RS Means or comparable construction estimating software. Knowledge of the principles of facilities operations, maintenance and repair, safety/OSHA regulations and applicable industry codes
Quality Control/ Safety Manager Level selected depends on SOW requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED). Specific training in OSHA Safety regulations and TQM or ISO 9001:2000
BS in Industrial or Safety Engineering preferred. Additional certifications through ASQ or Six Sigma training preferred. CPR/First Aid training and certification required.
Five years’ experience in safety and quality control. Experience to include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

3rd Class Steam Engineers License, Jurisdictional based. CFC Certification
