INTRODUCTION

- Windows are one of the most important elements in the building

- In recent years, windows have undergone a technological revolution

- Choosing a window involves many considerations!

- Contemporar technological inovation of window products:

• Glazing unit structure

• Low-emittance coatings

• Low-conductance gas fills

• Solar control glazing and coatings

• Warm edge spacers

• Thermally improved sash and frame

• Improved weather-stripping

ENERGY EFFICIENT WINDOW

- Important practical reason to select energy efficient windows is to reduce the annual cost of heating and cooling home!

- In order to select a window which will lower heating and cooling costs, first, it’s needed to estimate how much energy the furnace and air conditioner will consume

DIMENSIONS AND CONNECTIONS

- The window is assembled of 6 same frames or masks within itself and the overall dimensions of this window is 99 x 150 cm.

- The main frame of the window P1 is constructed and well protected with double frames with dimensions: 6 cm of thickness of one frame that is jointed to the thermal batten and the another one, much bigger, with dimensions of 8.5 cm which is connected to the first one and which carry and join two sealing of glasses (glasses are inwroughted between two frame instalment).
