In business for over 7 years in the home renovation as Construction and Renovation DBF Inc. in the Ottawa-Gatineau region, Reflexio Concept & Design was founded as the pionneer in a newly introduced concept of ceiling finishing which is now commonly known as Stretch Ceilings.

 Reflexio became the Leader in Ottawa-Gatineau in 2013 as a Residential and Commercial Specialist in Stretch Ceiling Now with a team totalling over 4,000 installations in Quebec and

Ontario, and partners in Montreal, Quebec City, Abitibi, Saguenay and Chicoutimi, Reflexio became #1 in Canada and is now expanding in Toronto up to Vancouver.

Stretch ceiling consists of: profiles, harpoon and a PVC membrane.Aluminum profiles are solidly fixed around the perimeter of the room. The harpoon is securely welded around the perimeter of the membrane and is being mounted into the special locking groove of the profile. There can be as little as 2,5cm distance between the stretch ceiling and the original ceiling.

What isStretch Ceiling

Stretch ceiling is installed directly to the basic ceiling. Profiles are fixed around the perimeter of the room to the walls or to the ceiling. Around the stretch ceiling runs a harpoon which is used to lock the ceiling to the profile. When installing stretch ceiling we have to warm up the ceiling and harpoon to around 45 degrees, the ceiling becomes very soft and easier to manipulate. Once in perfect position, the ceiling becomes very tight creating a perfectly smooth ceiling surface.

Our membranes come in different finishes: glossy (mirror effect), matt, satin and special designs.

Our membranes can be printed allowing you to personalize your decor, or you can have your logo printed.

Some membranes are more translucent and can be backlit.

Vecta Design stretch ceilings are safe to use in rooms with high humidity because of their moisture-resistance, mold free and protection against the spread of micro-organisms. Under the influence of moisture, stretch ceilings dimensions do not change.

VECTA Design stretch ceilings are known for their ultra light weight - only 240g per m2. It means that a 100 m2 ceiling weighs only 24 kg. This significantly reduces the load on the bearing structures of the building. No other type of ceiling has such minimal weight!

Vecta Design is also famous for its acoustic properties when used with integrated speakers.

VECTA Design acoustic ceilings are precision perforated and can be used to improve acoustics of the room and also reduce distracting noises. Combined to an additional insulation layer made from a suitable porous absorbent material and also by varying the distance from the original ceiling, you can significantly improve all noise absorbing characteristics of the room.

Our stretch ceiling is the ultimate solution to easily hide all wires, ventilation systems etc.

To the new ceiling you can integrate lighting, smoke detectors, ventilation openings, etc.

Stretch ceilings are maintenance-free. If there is a necessity to clean them, it can easily be done with a microfiber cloth and a soft cleaner.

Easy access whenever necessary. Trap doors available. In case of water damage from above, the ceiling will prevent any damage underneath and it is easy to open and then reinstall. It also allows for any quick addition of new lighting or technical equipments.
