About the AuthorHello! My name is Eliza and I learn at

UNIS Hanoi. I am in 6th grade and this is my poetry collection. For my poetry collection, I chose 5 poem styles that I thought I could work with. I got my inspiration to write my poems from my life and from fairytales. My poems talk about me and my imagination. All the pictures that I put for my poems were either taken or drawn by me.

My first poem is about my sister who is a unique part of my life. The second poem that I wrote is based on the story “the princess and the frog”. My third poem is based on a girl that I created from my imagination. My forth poem is a poem about something that is very important to me, music. My final poem is about my life in general. Page 1

Phone (Extended Metaphor)My life is like a phone. My life has its ups and downs.Sometimes I run out of battery,But there’s always a charger available for me.I break down once in a whileBut there’s always somebody there to fix me.Sometimes I get lostBut I have installed my new GPS.Sometimes I get scratchedBut my phone case is always there for me.My life is a phoneBut there are people to help you out of any problem.
