QPRisa6090minutetrainingwhereattendeeslearn: Earlyrecognitionofsuicidewarningsigns.Thesoonerwarningsignsaredetectedandhelpsought,thebettertheoutcomeofasuicidecrisiswillbe. EarlyQPR.Askingsomeoneaboutthepresenceofsuicidalthoughtsandfeelingsopensupaconversationthatmayleadtoareferralforhelp. Earlyinterventionandreferral.Referraltolocalresourcesiscritical,asmostpeoplethinkingaboutsuicidearesufferingfromanundiagnosedand/oruntreatedmentalillnessorsubstanceabusedisorderforwhichexcellenttreatmentsexist. Earlyprofessionalassessmentandtreatment. Earlydetectionandtreatmentresultsinbetteroutcomesandfewerliveslosttosuicide.
